Okay basically this ( idiots version ) :
EA was cool guys back in the day with titles like Medal of Honor allied assault, BF1942 - BF2 , and other titles. Then they decided to troll kids by having drm and limited installs on some games. Then they made dead space and everyone was like hey old ea might be coming back, then after witnessing activision's greedyness on modern warfare 2 , EA decided to show everyone they were cooler since they had BF1942 and MoH series and funded dice with loadsamoneh for BF:BC2 and everyone is going good googly moogly for the game and everyone likes EA again.
The end.
RIP Westwood Studios
seano12 your little story is a bit misinforming. If people liked EA again then why was this thread made?

Because the OP is angry that the BF account system got rid of his account.
Because the OP is angry that the BF account system got rid of his account.
True but still, people aren't angry just about that.
Skate actually sucked pretty bad, I'd rather play Tony Hawk (And I HATE tony hawk!).
Wow. Really?
EA is okay with most of the stuff they make, it just that they completely obliterate anything that was created by someone else.
Activision however, does indeed suck in every way imaginable.
Wow. Really?
Skate 1 was ok, but Skate 2 is awful. It's just Skate 1, but with clunky walking, shinier graphics, unrealistic challenges, and some lazily animated new tricks they shoehorned into their limited control scheme. Skate 3 is going to be just as bland and uninspired, if EA's track record means anything.
Edit:
"hey we like pumping out the exact same game year after year without putting any effort into actual content so lets get exclusive rights to NFL licensing effectively eliminating all competition hur"
yeah, what a solid company.

Everyone stopped hating on EA because they hated on EA for a few years and got bored of hating on EA and started hating on activision.
That's my theory and it's probably true.
Something is telling me you hate Activision because of their mutilation to MW2?
Never played MW2.
But every game I did play made by them sucked and had at least 2 sequels.
maybe, but Activision has stepped up in the last couple years. (Not including their half-minded decision on dedicated servers.)
When I bought the Battlefield 2 complete edition, BF2 and Special Forces installed fine, but the boosters didn't work.
When I emailed EA tech support and asked them to activate my boosters, (9 emails later) they said they did. I went into BF2 a day later and guess what? "You require Armored Fury to play on this map" :downs:
Then my account broke a year later and I couldn't install any patches on BF2 or BF2142, couldn't log in, then the uninstaller broke and I couldn't get rid of them normally. After cleaning my registry and trying to reinstall them, they crash right after the splash screen. EA Tech Support didn't do jack shit.
Making a new account is a possibility but I don't want to restart, my stats and weapons are gone. I want some of the weapons. I'm just butthurt for now.
Just join the servers that let you have all the unlocks when you are there. Save yourself the trouble.

Patch 1.50 has booster packs integrated. I don't use that since I like to play singleplayer (it removes bot commander D:). If you like to play singleplayer I highly reccomend googling for BF2ALL64

EA are getting a little better to be honest.
Forget about them and stop buying their games, the only company brand I trust is Valve and the only developer Garry.
Steam is the shit dawg', they don't shit on their customers like EA and Activision do.

Well that just means you are ignorant.
You are ignorant
How am I ignorant? I am completely open minded. You guys are the ignorant ones if you only trust Valve and Garry.

I never said that I trust Valve and Garry only.
There are several other Game making companies that I trust.
You are ignorant because you can't accept how people trust the thing they know the most.

I do accept that they trust the things they know the most, but if you even read who I quotes in the first place, it wasn't you. It was the "AngryAsshole" guy, and he DID say he only trusted them.
Rather pointless debacle right there. Anyway I am going to bed now.

Facepunch is always right, Jimmy.
Facepunch is always right, Jimmy.
You don't seem to get what I am saying. I never said that I DON'T trust them, I do trust them, but I don't make them the one and only thing that I trust. BioWare for example, they make fantastic games.
But calling other ignorant is rather pointless, too.
And it's not ignorant at all for trusting only Valve, you have less change of getting let down, and lesser amount of disappointments than when having your trust on many other companies.
To answer the OP's problem, I'm fairly certain that BF2 uses Gamespy's system for logging in. Just go to gamespy.com and e-mail your password.

I see nowhere where he directly insulted someone.
Point it out what you consider his flaming.
