Do you play Minecraft primarily on Multiplayer or Singleplayer?

I mostly play singleplayer, most multiplayer servers me and my friend try to find are ether shitty or white listed.
Playing multiplayer with my friends, we got our own school server, so just having fun there. Imo it's more fun to build stuff together with them, make arenas for duels etc than singleplayer!
I honestly think that Minecraft should be more focused on the multiplayer, just gives a 'multiplayer feel' towards me. Not a singleplayer kind of game. But that's my opinion.

I only play MP when I'm LANning.

I thought we used "blocks" as Minecraft's entire measurement system I.E. "That subway is about 3900 blocks long"
1 block is 1 meter, why say 3900 when you can say 3.9 km
Multiplayer only.
I'm not autistic enough for SP I guess
This is a surprisingly close poll. At first, I played nothing but singeplayer. Then I discovered how absolutely addicting multiplayer could be. Now, though, I enjoy just having a nice classic challenge by myself. It's easier to play your own way in singleplayer, but there's nothing quite like huge multiplayer collaborations.
i find both to be good fun, and i vary between the two.
i only play singleplayer with Mods
i play mutliplayer to play with my friends
If I'm building something, single-player, because there aren't people that ask to help and then fuck up on something.
If I'm surviving, multi-player, because cooperation in the wild is key.
I find myself playing on my server exclusively in recent times, for various reasons.
First, it's awesome when you can pull people together to create something grand, like the railway to the north, made possible by people who donated their time/materials.
Second, it's mostly a technical thing. The client crashes at completely random intervals without any error messages, and in single-player this means that my inventory will be saved up until that point (including any tools that have broken) and that any blocks I've placed/destroyed will be reverted. Where-as on SMP if my client crashes, the worst that happens is the server logs me out.
Multiplayer.
It's always fun to play with friends and see what others can build
Don't have anyone to go on multiplayer with :saddowns:
Well for me, I play Multi with friends just for building, Using /give commands just to build things, But on Singleplayer I play properly, No mods or shit, Just vanilla gameplay, Overall, I think I play more Multiplayer then Singleplayer.
Multiplayer. While in SP, you get that small feeling of accomplishment when you build something cool, you realize that there's no one else to see it. I'm sure that was Notch's intention, but I like SMP because of collaboration.
I singleplayer sometimes when I'm bored and there's no one else that will play.
I tried multiplayer and it was meh, because the server I joined was spammed with sponges and wool towers. I'd play multiplayer if it was just a few friends and myself building some forts to defend against mobs.
There's mobs in multiplayer, right? I've only played SP on classic, but I've watched people play beta.
Singleplayer, for the most part. I can uae my MCEdit, put in the material chests, and make my bunker however I want. But multiplayer can be fun as well.
singleplayer because multiplayer lags the fuck out for me.
Singleplayer, but I have more fun with multiplayer.
If that makes any sense.

Because I don't use the metric system :eng101:

Sorry I just saw this,
Why is a server being whitelisted a bad thing?
single player less glitchy.
Multiplayer is forever dominant.
Multiplayer. Way more fun when you're trying to survive with multiple people. Plus, ya gotta go on skype and get a group call going. That's the way to do it.
Jesus this is a close poll.
I play singleplayer. i cant play online because its to laggy :(
Either its my internet or the servers i play on. oh well.

Holy crap....it is.....
400 people and we can't decide which mode is more popular. Right down the frigging middle... amazing.
Does anybody know if there are Bukkit plugins for name changing and invisibility?
And not just nicknames, I want a mod that can let you change the name tag above your head.
Yes, yes, and no.
Yes on the name changing for chat
Yes on the invisibility
No on the name tag above head
I play Multi primarily, I mostly work on my future server, and the amass of plugins (as in ones that you don't have to tear apart your minecraft.jar file to use, The ones for bukkit) is awesome.
