I'll laugh if this gets better reviews than fallout 3. And sells more. I HOPE IT DOES.
I'll laugh if this gets better reviews than fallout 3. And sells more. I HOPE IT DOES.
Why would you laugh? It's an "original" fallout title in the sense a real developer picked it up this time. The original developer in a way.
Note the NCR soldiers helmet has (7) on it (or is it 171) and he has a faded 77 on his back.
More like a [ 7 ] on his helmet and a big N on his back. I wouldn't think much into it until we get more information. [editline]10:06PM[/editline] While we're on the subject, how do we know he's NCR?
Note the NCR soldiers helmet has (7) on it (or is it 171) and he has a faded 77 on his back.
Its "A7" not 77.
NCR are the good guys, which is why that confuses me too. They outlawed Slavery, public drug use including drinking, they have equal rights for ghouls and super mutants and ontop of it all they have a democratic republic with a powerful and kind leader.
They're not that good, their ideals are noble, but it can be corrupted like everything else. I kind of forgot the exact plot, but they hired Raiders to constantly attack Vault City to force them to join NCR for protection.
Just so you guys all know, this is going to be a boring piece of crap. Here is the story; you walk across the wastes looking for a place to die. The scene shown in the teaser is right at the end. You are trading the flag to the robot, who is slowly digging your grave for you. It's just like that old woman dying in a cemetery game, except set in the far future. It's all pretty obvious actually.
they made the NCR guy look really villainous which is weird because NCR was really the nicest major city in Fallout 2.
Maybe they turned evil. PLOT TWIST!
Cool story, bro.
Yeah
Yeah
I'm interested tell me more cool stories bro.
I'm interested tell me more cool stories bro.
Alright, want to hear the one about how that hand really belongs to Sticky?

You could argue that BOS is one, but they're more of an independent military unit and the Enclave are obviously out of the bill. You have to give them some credit and recognize that sometimes the end justifies the means when you're still living in a law-less wasteland and need all the power you can get to secure noble and just ideas.
Is that a PIP-BOY on his left arm?
Its "A7" not 77.
Couldn't see it in the low resolution, but you're right. Also is he wearing a pipboy?
Zooooooooooooooooomg elvis
Zooooooooooooooooomg elvis
Elvis is dead.
Yeah I'm guessing somewhere along the way NCR became morally less white and more grey.
Yeah I'm guessing somewhere along the way NCR became morally less white and more grey.
More black people joined.
Vegas looks pretty alive and kicking in fallout's wastes.
I'd like to see NMA's reaction to this and how it's inevitably going to mess up the canon (every fallout game does prove me wrong)
I'd like to see NMA's reaction to this and how it's inevitably going to mess up the canon (every fallout game does prove me wrong)
They're not in a huge fuss tbh [editline]03:17PM[/editline]
Vegas looks pretty alive and kicking in fallout's wastes.
Well according to Wasteland (Fallout 0), the casinos bet against Vegas getting nuked. And noone wins against the house. So maybe they've gone with that, plus it's been 200 years and you'd have enough time to get power and rebuild a decent city by then.
Am I the only one who's reminded of Tycho from fallout 1 when I see the guy in the gas mask and trenchcoat? "A man in dusty leather armor with a trenchcoat and gas mask" Also, he mentions something about a fat freak from Las-Vegas. I know it's a reference to Wasteland, but could it also be something in New Vegas?

CHANGE THE ENDING NOW" this does feel like its gonna be great. heard great things from Obsidian. even though i havent played the 1st and 2nd games, i cant wait to play this
I loved fallout 3 and I know I'm gonna love New Vegas. I just wish they didn't "Kill" Herbert in FO3. It would have been nice to see him in New Vegas. When I mean kill I mean that they pretty much made him Stay in one place forever or die.
Can't wait to jump of the "Stratosphere" and fall hundreds of feet to my death. :)
This game needs to be out now.
