Probably just going to buy just because of cross buy. don't spend most of my time where ps3 is set up and cross buy is perfect for that reason

Bumping, as the game is released. It's so much fun, frustrating in some 1v1 match-ups, but it's so addicting. I got the PS3 version, so I got my costumes and the Vita version. Apparently the costumes don't work with the Vita version at the moment... I'm maining Big Daddy, Sackboy, Nariko, Jak and Daxter, Evil Cole, and Spike. Kat when she's released.

I'd get this if it had some more characters. How the hell can they leave out spyro, crash and snake. Just bizarre.

Mainly because Activision owns Spyro and Crash, and they're a bunch of greedy assholes. As for Snake, you got me.

Just bizarre.[/QUOTE] Omar (lead designer) has gone on record saying they tried to get Snake and Crash, but Activision didn't want to give up the rights due to Spyro being a skylander abomination and Crash is "an important asset" or something stupid. Raiden getting in was Kamiya's (Platinum games) choice, and Kojima figured one MGS rep was enough. Also using Toro, people get so fucking mad at that little cat.

Well, considering snake is already in SSBB, I'd imagine that Activision decided that he didn't need to be in another one. Or something. Imagine if Xbox did something like this, though. What would the characters even be? They don't really have many 'classic' exclusives like PS and Nintendo do.

Just got the game today. It is pretty awesome and has a lot of unlockable stuff, but the Arcade mode on Legendary and higher is bullshit hard.

I love the game but the AI is kinda awful.

I figured this game would have a pretty awkward character roster. Nintendo has it great with Smash Bros, since they have such a wide variety of first-party series, some of which have been around since the 80s. But it sucks that Sony has much fewer first-party titles, and the rights to PS games' characters have been thrown around all over the place. I was never a big Crash Bandicoot fan, but not having him is pretty much like a Smash Bros. game not having Mario. Then again, the years have been kinder to Mario than they have to Crash. It also seems kinda weird seeing characters like Kratos and the Big Daddy, from these horribly violent games, now in a light-hearted party brawl game. But whatever, downloading now.

To be fair, it actually represents more IP's then Brawl does. 19 different ones (21 with the two free characters) Also Toro is crazy good. I'm at 275 with this damn cat.

Bumping, the DLC is out, the game was hit with an 800MB+ update on Vita and about 600MB+ on PS3. Kat and Emmett are free for the first two weeks, so even if you do not own PSAS, go ahead and "buy" them, so they will be yours when you do get this game! My Kat impressions; [B]FAST AS FUCK.[/B] She builds AP quickly, she has tons of combos, she can get from one side of the stage to the other fast, and she has a grab that can grab anyone around her, even if she isn't facing them. From what I've seen of Emmett, his Rocket Launcher Lv1 Super is stupid, as it has a fast activation time and a massive radius. His turrets gain low AP, but they knock a character out of a combo with every hit. Haven't used him, but will soon. The new stage is pretty to look at, Wipeout+Heavenly Sword was a good choice.

I like the free DLC I don't like having to pay £1.60 to use a stage whenever I want [editline]13th February 2013[/editline] Otherwise the two new characters are cool. Still won't replace Ratchet for me.
