Idk, maybe the game is just shit. :3:

Also, think about how much it would have been pirated if it DID have DRM :3:
You sure? :3:
Because free healthcare is bad how?
It's not free, NOTHING IN LIFE IS FREE DUMBASS!
You pay tax money for other people's health care.
durrrrr.
What you think all the money he took from us is gunna come back out his ass?

We already pay high taxes here and get free healthcare and I'm totally happy with it.
inb4 you don't pay taxes, your parents do.
Yes I do pay taxes with my own earned money.
GFWL did lock me out of UaW's multiplayer because of regional restrictions.
You make it sound like it's the developers fault. All they're trying to do is protect their work with a system that has proven, short-term benefits. If people didn't pirate so damn much then DRM wouldn't be needed.
Except DRM does nothing to prevent piracy.
The only people that are severely affected are those who legitimately got the game.
should i cancel my Bioshock 2 special edition and get it on steam or keep my special edition pre-order
Keep it because I'm keeping it and I don't want to feel alone.
The DRM isn't that bad. You only have to get online once during the installation, there are no activation limits (except for GFWL, but you don't have to use that and every game with GFWL has that apparently) and SecuROM is only used for disk checks.

My point is, you don't get FREE health care, your taxes pay for it.
so you are paying out your ass for someone elses broken leg, and then for your own broken leg later.

Of course it does; it slows crackers (no racism intended) down in the crucial period between going gold and a few weeks after release.

You are saying that what is happening in the US right now is the best? People dont have insurances because they cant afford them, and when something happens, they have to pay out of their own pocket and are dead broke.
Of course it does; it slows crackers (no racism intended) down in the crucial period between going gold and a few weeks after release.
Not really, out of experience I can say that most games are cracked and on our tracker never more than a week after release.
Not really, out of experience I can say that most games are cracked and on our tracker never more than a week after release.
Which means the DRM is doing it's job when you consider that the majority of game sales take place during the first couple weeks from release.
Well. Guess who isn't getting Bioshock 2 anymore. I'm not going through all this shit.
I guess that's what happened with World of Goo right? No DRM, cost less than $20, yet was pirated by 90% of it's playerbase.
They just over priced it had it been $10 a lot more people would of bought it.

Seems fine to me. It's better if my taxes go into paying for someone's health rather than paying for firearms or other killing machines.

Firearms and killing machines that keep your pale little ass safe from opposing nations.

What opposing nations? Torrest cells do not belong to any country, they are independent. The only country that I can think of that is currently an 'enemy' with the US is North Korea, and as of right now they aren't much of a threat.
BAAAAWWWWW THEY PUT DRM ON A GAME I'M CANCELLING MY PRE-ORDER BECAUSE IT'S BEEN RENDERED UNPLAYABLE
I don't mind the fifteen install limit to be honest, because all you really need to do is contact a customer support line and they'll probably be able to reset it for you. SecuROM is fine, back the fuck off of it.
And it isn't like you're going to install the game fifteen times in the course of your sixth month play time before you get bored. Hell, I don't think I'd even have to reinstall it more than once in that time frame.
With CD's
You only get 15 listens to this track before it is invalid.
With cars
You can only turn on and drive the car 15 times before it is invalid.
with anything elss
you can only use it 15 times
That wouldn't slide anywhere.
1 condom 15 times? :q:

Fine, let's make healthacare paid, hope one day you will be jobless and will die because you were not able to pay to fix you up.

There isn't even an install limit anymore. It's only a disk check now.
Piracy is getting a bit out of hand now. Most PC games are pirated out right, weather or not they have DRM people are still going to pirate it.
Steam is a good shot at anti-piracy, but even that's been cracked. This is why developers are swapping to consoles, more money less piracy.

There are poor people who can't pay 50euros but still want to play the game, so nothing can be done.
Most pirates were never going to buy the game anyway, so there is no real profit loss

SecuROM is bullshit, and represents a ridiculous decline in the view that we actually own the game we buy.
It's people like you, that make people like them, think the DRM like on Spore was fine.

I disagree. There is a minority who can't afford to buy the game, but the majority of people can and just don't see the point of chipping out that much money for a game they can get for free (and in some cases it's quicker to pirate games than order them from online)
(Games are more expensive to buy directly from steam than from a website like play.com or amazon. What the fuck is up with that?)
I also don't believe most pirates were never going to buy the game, especially with a big release like Bioshock 2.
HAHAHAHAHAHA. Yeah. That'll totally stop me from pirating the game. Totally.
I disagree. There is a minority who can't afford to buy the game, but the majority of people can and just don't see the point of chipping out that much money for a game they can get for free (and in some cases it's quicker to pirate games than order them from online)

Minority? Maybe it is in the USA or UK, but in Russia and other not so rich countries, it costs a lot and people's salaries are low. Where's in most advanced countries minimal payout is ~1k dollars or more, here it is 200$, and getting a highly paid job is near impossible. So you can't afford to pay for your living place, bills and food and have money left to pay for 50Euro games.
Sure, I agree, a lot of people pirate because of laziness, but there's enough poor people who can't afford all of them.
Does ShitcuROM really install rootkits?

It doesn't install rootkits, it is one.
