Bioshock 2: Drowning in DRM - Games

well fuck i dont have a console fuck you fuck you fuck you windows live ruins everything it touches, look at down of war 2 for example, what the hell man the multiplayer is ridiculous i couldnt even register in the live system because they wouldnt accept brazilian zip codes, i had to ask a friend of mine for his zip code, now it says i live in pensylvania dammit why is windows live even on PC what the hell, we dont need that thing why did it come here? o wow im sad now

How do developers not realize that this isn't going to stop piracy, but just increase it? I'll probably buy this after they realize the shitstorm they've stirred up.

Oh goddamnit, I thought the title said Digital Molecular matter was coming (DMM) to bioshock. Fuck, I was so excited, only to find even more security measures. Ruined my day :(

DRM is pointless, the pirates crack it within days of release, if not before. It only adds strain to the people who actually buy the games

I fucking hate GFWL. It slows down your computer when it's running, takes for fucking ever to log into, and is bullshit.

What does Games for Windows do anyways? From what I've read, sounds kind of like steam but apparently shittier. Can someone explain?

I wonder if in the future companies will smarten up and stop the bullshit or continue increase the amount of shit legitimate buyers already get. I assume that it will only get worse, they add DRM shit to one of their titles, less people buy the game, more people pirate the game for convenience and spite , so in response they add more DRM shit onto it which repeats the cycle. Most of the pirating is their own damn fault.

Most people who hate it aren't doing it because of a bandwagon, it simply fails. And people weren't saying it sucks, they were saying that they didn't want DRM so they were switching to different platforms and rethinking their purchases on the PC.

I was getting it on 360 anyways. Because my friends. Since this one does have multi-player.
