I wouldn't mind that actually. The only reason I knew what I was doing in DkS was because I had read up so much info on the game before I bought it.
Hey guys, what helmets go well with the Black Iron set? Aside from the Black Iron helmet, I mean.
Hey guys, what helmets go well with the Black Iron set? Aside from the Black Iron helmet, I mean.
It's a matter of taste, imo.
Finally defeated Drake and Josh. I guess I go to Duke's next?
Finally defeated Drake and Josh. I guess I go to Duke's next?
If you're going to go take on Seath, I would highly recommend getting the Cursebite Ring from the New Londo Ruins first. It'll make that battle a million times less painful.
Finally defeated Drake and Josh. I guess I go to Duke's next?
You can go to the lord bosses in any order. Nito is the easiest boss of all of them, but the Tomb of the Giants is a pain in the ass.
My usual order is Duke's, 4K, Izalith, ToG. Duke's is easy to get out of the way first because it's close to Biggie Smalls, Izalith next for the sunlight maggot, then tog because you can run through it quickly but you should have a divine weapon. There's a Divine Club in Duke's. [editline]15th December 2012[/editline] or do 4k first for the cursebite ring, then seath.

Bed of Chaos is obviously the easiest boss.
I'm curious, how useful is the Whip, PvP and PvE wise?
I'm curious, how useful is the Whip, PvP and PvE wise?
Useless in every respect.
Useless in every respect.
Perfect, i'll use it for PvP.
Dark Souls is kinda getting annoying for me, any suggestions for builds? (either PvP or PvE)
Dark Souls is kinda getting annoying for me, any suggestions for builds? (either PvP or PvE)
Cestus only
Dark Souls is kinda getting annoying for me, any suggestions for builds? (either PvP or PvE)
http://mmdks.com/cpq become the biorr
http://mmdks.com/cpq become the biorr
I CAN'T play with anything worse that fast roll. I just can't. [editline]15th December 2012[/editline]
Cestus only
Something tells me I would get my ass torn apart
So are Abbott & Costello actually that difficult, or just ~meh~ with the right strategy? Because I've heard that people die only when Thelma & Louise get close together. I'm planning on going in with < 50% weight so I can roll and run quickly, and using the pillars I should be able to separate them okay, apparently. But I also don't want Laurel to make a move and force me out of hiding behind a pillar so Hardy can hammer charge me. Alternatively, is it overanalyzation that kills players? On the wiki page there's like ten different strategies for Penn & Teller. I know that so far in the game if I can judge the range of a weapon, position myself correctly, and roll when I need to, I can dodge most things. Either way, Simon & Garfunkel intimidate the fuck out of me. That one .gif helps though, the breakdance standoff.
I seriously can't beat O&S with my SL1 character. Like seriously, how do people do it?
Hey guys, what helmets go well with the Black Iron set? Aside from the Black Iron helmet, I mean.
Mask of the Father, duh.
I seriously can't beat O&S with my SL1 character. Like seriously, how do people do it?
I did it like how I usually do O&S, back up in a circle around the room, occasionally taking potshots at Ornstein with pyromancy. I thought I would have to do crazy rolls and shit, but you can still block Ornstein's attacks (albeit only one) without your stamina running out. After that, it's Super Smough, and that's exactly as you would normally do it.
red tearstone, dusk ring, bellowing dragoncrest. Ornstein goes down in three combustions.

All I have is fireball, fire orb, and combustion, and Laurentius just kinda disappeared. Fire orb works great, but there's only six uses of it.
red tearstone, dusk ring, bellowing dragoncrest. Ornstein goes down in three combustions.
Ahaha, that sounds great. I'd have to go find the tearstone and dusk ring, though.
What pyromancy did you use? All I have is fireball, fire orb, and combustion, and Laurentius just kinda disappeared. Fire orb works great, but there's only six uses of it.
Fireball and fire orb. I dumped almost all of my souls into upgrading my flame, such that even just my fire orbs are enough to take Ornstein down (if I hit all of them, which I never did).
I seriously can't beat O&S with my SL1 character.
Perfect, i'll use it for PvP.
The whip is actually really fun to use in PvE. Weak as fuck but when it's +15 you can do decent damage and you look pretty badass. You need help against bosses though.

use the whip as an offhand. looks cool as fuck and you can still parry with it.
