I'm worried new darksouls will be shit..
I'm not worried about DkSII being a bad game, it'll be a good game. What I'M worried about is DkSII being a bad game in comparison to DkS and DeS.
I can trust From but I don't know if I can trust Namco. They seem like they're pulling the rug out from under From with DS2 and I don't know if that's a bad or good thing just yet, but probably bad. But honestly I'm not worried about DS2 being bad in the slightest. There's no way you can fuck something like Dark Souls up without changing what it is at its core, and they already said they don't plan on doing that.
The way I see it, Dark Souls certainly didn't fail to live up to Demon's Souls. You can look deeper and say they didn't have as big of a change of staff as their director for Dark/Demon's, but I'm just saying this company has done a fitting sequel already, surely they can do it again.
Man, now I'm quite hyped. It's just that this game + a controller will rack up a nasty price, going to wait and see if it gets on sale in the coming weeks.
You'll not regret what you spend your money on. Believe me.
Testing a stream - Quality passable? http://www.twitch.tv/thejavaserver
I just killed dark gwyndolin or whatever on my SL50 sunbro, am I still able to be summoned to help people with O&S? Because I'm not getting any action

The new director is pretty boldly saying that it is going to be different from what we know and love. [editline]16th December 2012[/editline] I hope I'm wrong though.
That feeling when you're on the bus back to the garrison, knowing dark souls is downloading back home. Mandatory conscription is such bullshit.

Only if guys from the future and director himself.
Guys I'm just so sad about Dark Souls 2 already
aw snap got another one [t]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/540694840379453744/629C8F3FECCE37CB0AFC52FCDA1A7D825BE3F83D/[/t]
Out of all my playthroughs, I have never seen a vagrant.
i've had one vagrant, and that was at the sunlight altar. This is during 300 hours aswell.
Out of all my playthroughs, I have never seen a vagrant.
I've only seen one, and it killed me because I was throwing sunlight spears at hollows by the church. It did some homing attack that one hit me as a level 100.
I know I shouldn't be so pessimistic about Dark Souls 2 but I've already had every other major series I like consumed by casuals. Elder Scrolls, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Far Cry, Hitman, and Half-Life is just never going to be finished. I'VE LOST EVERYTHING
well, uh, I just spent 2 hours watching a japanese girl stream dark souls halfway through I thought to myself "I should learn japanese" and then I went to kill the four kings and decided I could put it off for a while
We just have to wait and see what happens. I'm kinda worried myself, but i can trust From Soft not to be twats.
iirc, people thought Dark Souls was going to be shit because one of the devs said they were streamlining a lot of things, like removing grass, making online play easier, making the skill icons not stupid, adding bonfires instead of making you restart the entire stage, removing stages altogether... So I'm guessing the changes won't hinder the experience, but make it more managable, so you won't have to go on the wiki to figure out what the fuck scaling is.

We can't judge anything until we see the gameplay concept art is just concept art and team is the same. They can change everything upon developing.
I'm just so scared ;.; hold me Zombine
Just saw this on the wiki: "Draw me like one of your french crows. CAW! [editline]16th December 2012[/editline] Also, huge ass image.

I don't know, I am not a souls veteran or anything, but I really fucking love the games, and am a bit worried.
i saw a vagrant in the undead parish yesterday i am now one of the elite few
I've seen 2. One in Anor Londo whick looked like a wierd crab thing and one in New Londo which looked like an egg or a polyp with little tentacle legs. The crab one dropped better loot.
thank you for that stupidly large image [editline]e[/editline] I have seen one vagrant ever and it killed me and then vanished. I guess I missed my chance, for all I know it had billions of souls in it.
Honestly how does an image even get that large? What process did it go through? Or did someone just go "let's make this image as large as we can on purpose."
I saw a vagrant in TotG, but since I was SL1 and had a skeleton dog after me, I couldn't kill it :(
I want to get this game so bad, but I have to wait for the sale, and that's only if it goes on a 50% sale, (I only have 20$ in my account)

Besides there is not much know about Dark Souls 2, only that it will be different in some aspects, not necessarily dumbed down. Just be patient about it.
I'm loving my Darkwraith [thumb]http://i.cubeupload.com/VAj9xm.jpg[/thumb] I slowly walk through the halls in Londo until I find the person I am invading, I then swap out the lamp for a dark hand and violently attack :v: Mostly lose, but it's fun to have a consistent guideline to adhere to
