Friend showed me this game, it looks very awesome. Is there anyone that could help me out kindness of his Heart? Bought Dark Souls, progressed up to having the first bell rung, find out that there are insect-type enemies in the game. Game ends with arrival at Darkroot Garden, to scared to progress further. This is what happens when you are a pathetic pansy such as myself.

for those of you doing SL1 runs (or did already), what'd you end up wearing? I'm rocking the hollow thief set at the moment. With a sack, of course. Also apparently the lightning snakes can hit you ONCE and trigger a bleed. Oh god.

I'm using the Codo set, minus the headgear. Because fuck blight town.

who cares about defense? at a certain point, once you get hit ONCE you're dead anyway. i'm already at the point where i'm using the red tearstone 100% of the time.

more defense than most sl100 players have, provided you're fine with fatrolling. havel's CHEST alone has more defense than my entire set at +5

they're really not tough though. From the bonfire at the bottom of Blighttown, you'll be running right past three of them to get to Quelaag's Domain each time you want to fight her. Personally the enemy I find the scariest is the Mimic. I knew what was coming so I never fell for them, but they have a surprising amount of health and make creepy noises. I wanted the Crystal Halberd (which was awesome for the imps) so I tried to fight the one in early Anor Londo. Much faster, taller, and resistant than I was expecting, and when I let it get too close eventually it chomped me down from full health. Eugh.
