Even without parrying, Gwyn is 10x easier than Manus.

Get a +15 Black Bow, Hawk Ring, and Heavy Arrows.
Just run around until you can summon Sif then all you really need to watch out for are his Dark Magic attacks and his monkey paw attacks.

The humanities have an insane drop rate with no humanity at all, it hits ridonkulous levels if you even use 1 humanity.

even with gold serpent ring and some humanities, i sometimes don't get anything at all, and mostly get around 4 or less.

I tried to drop a weapon for him and he ignored it, then indicted me when I killed him. I got him to summon me, then gave him a BK shield and +5 SK Sword just to make it less painful to watch.

It's still a much better drop rate than rats, I almost never get a drop from them unless I'm carrying lots of humens
sl1 invading in the parish dressed up as elite knight with crest shield using a raw morning star +5 is the most fun
Jesus Christ, I can't beat Gwyn SL1. I must have tried over 25 times now, and I'm not getting any better. I usually fail to get the first parry off, so I just die. Sometimes I parry him, but then I'll get fucked over by the grab attack. Once I got 4 parries off, and then missed the next. And pyromancy seems to be even harder to pull off correctly.

Sometimes I think even raw +5 is way overpowered for new players.

I feel like my SL1 guide is like 1 week behind, there are so many people doing SL1 runs right now that are just slightly ahead of my guide.
Well, O&S held up mine to the point where I started dickwraithing in Anor Londo on a level 40 character for a while. I'll probably start up again after the O&S video.

I've tried Havels armor on it's own, too lazy to go get iron flesh etc
