Holy shit, I just realized something. So Seathe performed tons of experiments on "maidens", right? He sealed a bunch of them up in crystal golems and other shit, but I just saw something else. We all know there are two unique slug things at the bottom of his prison place that drop Princess's Guard covenant spells. There's also the maiden clothes which we know are the clothes of priestesses, so we know that Seathe had priestesses in his dungeon. Now I always knew that the slug things were Seathes creations, but I noticed an extra detail looking at those two slug things this time. They're sitting in the corner shivering. Those two slug things are priestesses of Gwynevere twisted by Seathe into unholy abominations. And they're still self aware. Jesus fucking Christ, that's some I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream shit.
They also don't attack you and you can hear them sobbing. And they drop miracles based on the sun and the moon.
No mercy to the followers of the Old Gods, only those that follow the Dark Lord may remain.
I doubt that, the word framework to me implies a broader implication as far as gameplay, not something small like voicechat. [editline]19th December 2012[/editline] You are correct, that's cool that you figured that out by yourself.
I agree, I only realized after watching ENB Also if you pay attention, you hear them sobbing and crying.
:(
I feel your pain.
I finally got the game from dogmachines (thank you!). The thing is when I start it up it crashes. First time I started it up it didn't even want to boot up, I verified the game cache and it downloaded 1 file. Now it just crashes. IMAGE of the Crash: http://puu.sh/1CLoF I did get that DSFix, dogmachines told me it will fix the buggy mouse because I don't have the XBOX Controller yet.
So it turns out the Four Kings are kind of a joke if you know how to time your rolls. Who knew? [sp]Oh wait. Probably everyone.[/sp]
Wow, so I was just minding my own business, went to "2spooky4me" place (ToTG), Patches kicked me down as usual and then when I wanted to pick up a lantern suddenly someone attacked me from behind. And I was like "who the hell can attack me in this place?", I turned the camera and saw this. I'm near 4 hours and STILL not beaten the Taurus Demon or that big sword guy down those stairs...
big sword guy down those stairs...
parry that fuckhead and stab him through the scrotum
I'm near 4 hours and STILL not beaten the Taurus Demon or that big sword guy down those stairs...
Try using your lightning pine resin and black fire bombs on Taurus, they make quick work of him.
I hate Blighttown. It's not really challenging by itself, but I keep getting lost and every time I die, I die because I fell down.
I hate Blighttown. It's not really challenging by itself, but I keep getting lost and every time I die, I die because I fell down.
The only thing I found problematic about Blighttown was the occasional fps drop.
Try using your lightning pine resin and black fire bombs on Taurus, they make quick work of him.
I just get bashed in the face. Also, how does leveling even work and stuff?
I just get bashed in the face. Also, how does leveling even work and stuff?
you level at bonfires also when you walk through the fogdoor turn around theres something that will help a lot
you level at bonfires also when you walk through the fogdoor turn around theres something that will help a lot
I know about that but I still get smashed. I know how to increase my stats but I don't get what's with the level and cost.
what exactly do you not get about it you just spend your souls on level-ups

He used DSFix 1.8 instead of 1.9 and it started working fine. So if you downloaded 1.9, try removing it in favor of 1.8.
what exactly do you not get about it you just spend your souls on level-ups
But why does the level go up and the cost increase?
But why does the level go up and the cost increase?
the cost increases so theres a challenge
because if each level costs the same amount it would be ridiculously easy
But it costs the same to increase something from 9 to 10 as it does from 14 to 15 at the same level.
I just realized something. In the prologue, it states the world was without form and everything was all fog and trees and stairs and bullshit like that. So obviously, all the humans and gods were dicking around in the primeval ocean underneath the world until their asses got fed up and started to beef with the dragons. So, if Gwyn was the one who lead the assault against the dragons and took the Earth for gods (and humans), how exactly does he have an uncle if he was one of the first lords who rebelled? More importantly, how exactly is his uncle the "All-Father" of probably everything and didn't quite give a shit about helping out? Obviously the Way of the White and a bundle of other countries worship Lloyd's crusty ass self, so he's clearly the big nigga in charge in that world. What I don't understand is how he came before Gwyn, didn't do jack shit, and wasn't Gwyn technically one of first niggas walking about? Something seems off about the whole thing, unless I'm missing something. Also, did Gwyn doing his thing in the Kiln put the undead curse on the entire world? If so, how the fuck does his ass, a god who isn't even the most powerful, create something so powerful it fucked everything up?
But it costs the same to increase something from 9 to 10 as it does from 14 to 15 at the same level.
you're leveling up and selecting one stat to increase you aren't leveling up one stat
But it costs the same to increase something from 9 to 10 as it does from 14 to 15 at the same level.
If it cost less for an individual stat that was low then you could easily raise everything up to a certain point. You need to choose each point you spend carefully because getting 1 point makes the next point cost more no matter what you spend it on. If it didn't then you'd hardly even need to choose, you could just raise every stat.
But it costs the same to increase something from 9 to 10 as it does from 14 to 15 at the same level.
every single point you raise a stat counts as a level-up if you level a stat up from 8 to 12, that counts as 4 level-ups hence it costs more each time
SL1 Guide 6 - Unloading Near Buttresses "In this episode we quickly penetrate the Great Hollow and proceed to unload on the last two gargoyls. We continue to slowly slide up the buttress and onto the rafters where we carefully manuever around the white ninjas. Wait. Gross."
Yay finally beat the Taurus Demon!
