Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition(360,PS3,PC)v3 - Dark Magic is perfectly balanced - Games

Thank god for 1.07 in 1.06, I would never level a legit character because it all took too long, and it was too easy to just cheat my way to a 120 faith/int/str/dex build and start pvping. Now I'm forced to level my character legitimately and it's so much fun.

Considering that the release time between Demon's Souls and Dark Souls were only 2 years, I would imagine Dark Souls II would be released late 2013/early 2014. Time is going to fly.

Artorias is possibly the best boss in the game. Goddamn I loved that. Maybe it was like going against a bigger, better version of my character.

Can anyone explain to me the weapon upgrade system? As far as I understand, you use titanite to gain +'s, but some people say its not worth it?

of course it's worth it, why would you fight with base leveled weapons? just never ever go Raw, it's shit

My game broke like a minute before I was going to fight scaleless, and for whatever reason, I am not capable of death. I can no longer beat the game, this makes it impossible.

There's a few jumps that become a bit harder to make and sliding down ladders can sometimes make you fall through the floor, but pushing backspace will toggle the FPS lock so just do that before you make big jumps and slide down ladders and you'll be fine. It's well worth the extra FPS, believe me.

i just got this game from a friend and haven't played dark souls since i played it on ps3 what has changed? according to another friend, DEX and INT builds/dark magic are op

Just started playing the level right after the tutorial level, and I got no where after like an hour and a half of playing, and ended up wasting my souls on inferior equipment because I couldn't compare the stuff I was buying to what I had equipped. I enjoyed every second of it. Is this similar to most people's first experience?

Got my main melee weapon and a catalyst in my right hand, and then have a crossbow and now sometimes a bow along with my pyromancy flame in my left hand.

People who stay low level and invade with end game gear. Most will just cheat their stuff but a SL1 can make it slightly less worse :v:
