Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition(360,PS3,PC)v3 - Dark Magic is perfectly balanced

it probably has to download the latest patch first
I'm starting to play again. I updated DSFix and modified it to my liking but now the menu is all blurry and when I start my game I fall through the floor. What's the dill?
Feels good to kill a person in Giant/Havel armor mix up while I'm Dual wielding Shotels.
I picked up this from the sales recently, and upon MANY deaths against the Taurus Demon I encountered quite the incredible moment.
As he raised his club, I attempted to dodge his attack by rolling to his side, however this resulted in a rather large smack to the face causing me to fly off the edge of the bridge.
So, once again, I sat back in my chair and sulked at yet another defeat.
Until he jumped off with me. :v:
So yeah, right now I guess I haven't really played that much to form a solid opinion on this game, however I'm sure as I slowly progress I'll learn to love this game for what it is.
Should I get this for PC if I already have it on PS3?
I can definitely run it perfectly and I have a gamepad.
Nah. Unless you don't have the DLC or something.
Really no reason to get it for PC if you already have the console versions, unless you want to trade better connectivity and more players for better graphics.
So I'm a little wary of picking this up for the PC when I already have this on the PS3. I don't have the DLC and I'm wondering if the extra 5 bucks is worth it to own it on the PC as well.
What are the pros / cons?
Is GFWL still a pain in the ass?
Hows the fps in blighttown?
Is PvP more or less a laggy mess?
git rekd oreos n smores
homing soulmass laughs at you
ha ha ha
I'm loving this Int Build.
Gaping Dragon went down literally in 6 casts of Heavy Soul Arrow, and Orns & Smough went down in 10 Homing Soulmasses(3 of which missed completely) and 10 Great Soul Arrows.
can't wait to see how I do on the 4 Lords.
I'm in the mood for some invasions.
Time for some grim newbie slayi- I mean, Lets welcome anyone who has just bought Dark Souls.
I find this game pretty enjoyable on the m&kb setting after downloading the patches in the OP.
I started this game on an offline account, but when I switched to GFWL my saves are gone (tied to the original account?). Any way to transfer them from offline to online accounts?

I've been invading people in the Parish and it's goddamn funny.
People backing off ledges, dying to NPCs, alt+F4ing when they see me... :v:
Made my brother buy Dark Souls and gave him some minor guidance at the start to help him out.
He got invaded by a twink in the Parish, that was not good for morale. :v:
Was it me? :v:

A little less pestering is always a nice thing. :v:
Yes, however, that was a shallow point in the 4 hour long session. I'm enjoying it so far though.

go to the saves folder (c:/users/username/my documents/NGBI/Dark Souls) and copy the file out of the offline account folder into the online one
Dark hand hornet ring riposte animation is the greatest thing ever.

His name was "HowISwingAxe?" or something daft like that.

Thanks! By the way, is it viable to make a back-stabbing dagger build? I'm playing around with it but when you go up against some of the stronger enemies they tear you apart.

That animation is the same for all fist weapons, I think.
Oh god damn it, I keep encountering this one guy who's blue and is wielding a Butcher Knife, A Demon Spear, a Pyro Hand and a Green Chest Shield. Must had faced him about 5 times, still no were close to killing the cunt.
Just beat Capra Demon, what is up with everyone claiming that he is too hard? I wasn't expecting the boss at all, came in with a bandit knife (was practicing backstabs) and still managed to kill him on the first try, he wasn't hard at all- I just kept luring him off the stairs and jumping down, when he follows you he has a brief "getting up" animation where you can wail on him.
Mainly because it used to be two dogs going straight for you as soon as you got through the door, followed by Mr Capra.

It's still like that?
Tried copying my files over to the online one, now it says its "corrupted save data." Welp, looks like I'm sticking to offline mode then :v:

Nah, its not. only one dog goes for you at the start now due to one of the later patches, the other is behind the Capra demon in the mini archway.
Just bought Dark Souls, can't wait to play.
Also I don't know if this has been mentioned but Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition is $15 on Amazon compared to $20 with the deal on Steam, and it activates on Steam.

Does Dark Souls work on Windows 8?
I kinda hope for Dark Souls 2 that Pryomancys aren't so easy to obtain or at least have a stat requirement or something, I really don't want to be encountering people with great combustion and dark flame in low level areas...
In other news, i finally got that smurf killed. 8 deaths later. I did say i would kill the bastard.
Streaming a Soul Level 1 playthrough. I just started, so I'll probably be going for a few hours. Come watch me suffer!
Enemy that was tailing me killed Petrus, but now the other followers of the covenant blame me for it. Whenever I try to use the stairs to get to the elevator, I get mobbed by Rhea and her guards. What to do?
edit: Dropped an item in the nest to trade with Snuggly, but when I reloaded there was no item in the nest?
If anyone bought this for the 360, I'll be in the Burg shortly to help people run to Taurus.
