Streaming again for those who somehow enjoyed it last time. New headset so you can hear my glorious voice even better. twitch.tv/alobomb
What headset do you use? I need to buy a new one.
Enemy that was tailing me killed Petrus, but now the other followers of the covenant blame me for it. Whenever I try to use the stairs to get to the elevator, I get mobbed by Rhea and her guards. What to do? edit: Dropped an item in the nest to trade with Snuggly, but when I reloaded there was no item in the nest?
I'm not sure but repenting just past the gargs boss may help. Also petrus was a fuck.
What headset do you use? I need to buy a new one.
The turtle beach "Ear Force X12" so far the game audio with all the games I've used it with is amazing. The mic seems pretty good too.
Someone thinks I'm a hacker because i have Darkwraith armor at level 16. Silly MLG Person. :3
I'm not sure but repenting just past the gargs boss may help. Also petrus was a fuck.
watchu talking about petrus is a bro he showed me how to shrug i didnt know how before he showed me but now i do because he did because hes a bro
I'm not sure but repenting just past the gargs boss may help. Also petrus was a fuck.
Is it fine if I don't repent? Absolution costs a lot of souls, and I don't really want to spend them. Are the Way of the White members important later on, or can I just ignore/avoid them and still beat the game without problems?

If you want miracles then yes. If you don't? Not really.
Recomended shields for SL1 playthrough? I'm currently using the hollow soldier shield.
Baller
heater shield.
Baller
I assume that means the Balder Shield?
Fully upgraded Balder is your best shot, it's got the highest stability. You can shield through Capra hits/Sif/Gargoyles, etc.
Fully upgraded Balder is your best shot, it's got the highest stability. You can shield through Capra hits/Sif/Gargoyles, etc.
I'll go with that then. Thanks for the suggestions.
your weapons should look like this, more or less: reinforced club fire +10 reinforced club lightning +5 hand axe lightning +5 hand axe fire +10 Balder Shield +15 Light Crossbow Lightning +5 w/ Lightning Bolts Asc. Pyro Hand +5 equipment should all be +15/+5 if unique obviously some of those aren't as necessary (especially the crossbow), but they're all super useful. (also don't use chaos, it's unnecessary). Also remember you can buy the balder shield from the crestfallen merchant in Sen's so don't do what I did and spend two hours farming the parish trying to get one to drop. [editline]26th December 2012[/editline] also power within, great fireball, great combustion, bellowing dragoncrest, favor and protection, red tearstone...i think that's about it. maybe dusk's crown too. and a sack because it's the best headgear
Armor doesn't quite matter in a sl1 run, go with that looks cool and the roll you want. Also you can 2h the blacksmith weapons if you wanted to.
Got this game for Christmas and I'm loving it so far. Right after getting into Lordran I kept going through the area with several treasure chests and throwing myself into the graveyard because I thought that was where I was supposed to go. Every time I'd get destroyed by skeletons within seconds, and I kept thinking, "I knew this game would be difficult but goddamn." When I found out I was going the wrong way I got so pissed at myself.
once again, nobody ever listens to the Crestfallen Warrior
Got this game a couple of days ago and rushed in, not knowing about builds or where to go and that kind of stuff. Still, I'm doing fairly okay, even though I'm thinking I should be able to find a better weapon than my Drake Sword +1 by now. Also, what's better, the Gold-Hemmed Black Nazgûl stuff, or the elite knight armor?
once again, nobody ever listens to the Crestfallen Warrior
I talked to him but I guess I fell asleep for a few seconds or something

As for the armor its up to you the gold hemmed has crazy high fire resistance and is light, but has low actual armor, while the Elite knight armor has poise so you won't be stunned by hits as much and you will take less damage but you will be heavy and will not dodge as effectively.
Woah, started the game up for the first time in a few days. All my characters have bright as fuck coloured skin and fall through the floor immediately upon loading. I think my game has a chance of being possessed. Okay, it's not a texture override problem or a 60fps problem, disabling both leads to eternal falling and colourful skin. How the fuck do I fix this? :v: Okay, it's as if there's no such thing as a solid surface, even enemies and NPCs are falling with me, this is horrific.
I think it might be time to retire the Tribal King. :( what should I build next
I'm aiming for a VIT40/END40/STR40/DEX40 build by SL120, is this good? Going to be an "all-around" character but I want to focus on making a fast, light armor build focusing on backstabs and parries/riposte. I'm also thinking of upgrading a rapier to +15, is that worth it or no?
holy shit i just invaded another tirbal king awesome
Are you building for PvP or PvE?
For PvE. Can't do PvP as I made a mistake of signing in with an offline account first boot-up.
oh. well you can build for pve however you want. if i were you though i'd just start over with an online account. i don't know how gfwl works though.
