The PC icon on the official website used to link to a GFWL page. I'd just checked there now though and it doesn't any more so maybe there's a bit of hope? Either that or they're trying to hide a downside to the game.

it looks like i've found my very own sun...after all

So I became a Darkwraith for the first time today (not that build I was posting about earlier, this is some other character). It was actually pretty fun. I was invading in Anor Londo with a +14 estoc while buffing it with Great Magic Weapon. It was fun, but 9/10 times I faced some people with 2 phantoms decked out in Havels stuff. After about an hour of invading, I was about to stop, but I wanted to invade one more time. I faced the perfect opponent. She had a rapier as well. We bowed and began. It was an epic duel, very close, but ultimately, I was the winner. Best duel I've had yet.

Yeah, that's pretty much how invading works. Most people will be accompanied by lots of annoying friends. You get used to it after a while. Winning 3v1s are always hilarious, though.
