Foolish me thought that thrusting weapons were pretty good in PvP. D: EDIT: Well, I worded that wrong, I meant that I thought [B]I[/B] would be good at thrusting weapons in PvP. I just can't get used to it.

Thrusting weapons are really easy to circle around and seem easier to parry so I hate using them, especially for pvp.

The Darksword not quite being one. But a thrusting weapon are often reliable... For fighting just one person. Not sure how easily you can kill off the host with phantoms with a thrusting weapon such as a estoc though since I don't use them that often. Best to have quick roll or flips with them, I think.

if you like spears but don't like the limited moveset, try a partizan. the r2 is a sweep, it's great.

Was watching a Demons Souls video just for the hell of it when I see the guy sprint with light encumbrance. He moves at the fucking speed of [B]LIGHT.[/B] Didn't know they slowed down the player so much in Dark Souls.

Sprinting is much faster in DeS, so is rolling because there isn't really any recovery time... but you climb ladders like a turtle.

When I actually want a second Side Sword; No side sword, Crest of Artorias, 39 Titanite Shards, 3 Balder Shields, 3 1/2 sets of Balder Armor, 2 Rapiers, 1 Buckler, 3 people rung the bell, 4 hours spent farming with 10 Humanity and Gold Serpent Ring.

I found one right outside of O&S while I was trying to invade. Although, it had the weirdest spawn and I should've taken screenshots... He spawned with 2 of the giants and Smough. I shit you not, smough spawned with him. The golems just walked away out of the cathedral and I decided to smack Smough. He didn't move, so I killed him and O's cutscene came on. I flipped because I didn't want to kill them, but then I noticed he was still in the room, and I wasn't. Then came the invasions, and peoples reactions to having O's healthbar at the bottom of the screen. I have no idea what happened, and little to no way to prove it. :\

anybody got a faith build that's the only type of character i haven't really played

I hear faith is annoying as shit to do because all the good miracles are later in the game.

I just got a PS3 and Demon's Souls. So far I've beaten Phalanx, Tower Knight, Adjucator (However it's spelled), Fool's Idol, and Armoured Spider. I love Dark Souls, but so far, I'm actually enjoying Demon's Souls a hell of a lot more, but then again I'm kind of burned out on Dks at the moment so that could be influencing me. Anyway, I've turned in for the night after beating those bosses, I'll be taking on the Valley of Defilement tomorrow, wish me luck.

It's not that bad. Shrine of Storms is a lot worse.
