Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition(360,PS3,PC)v3 - Dark Magic is perfectly balanced - Games

I have a PS3 so I don't know why I haven't gotten Demons' Souls yet when I watch videos of it on youtube, it just seems like a much more complete game than Dark Souls is

Why am I having so much trouble on the Parish with my new character? I was having issues with my DEX character on the Gargoyles, so I made a STR character. I understand that I swing slower and all, but still. At least I have my Zweihander and have killed that fucking boar.

I was in Lower Undead Burg when I actually encountered my first non-twink invader. We both bowed and started to take a few odd swings at eachother, up until I triggered a thief ambush from up ahead. He stepped to the side and let me fight them off with no interference. Once they were dead, we proceeded to engage in a fair duel, with me coming out on top. So up until now, I've been barraged by twinks which kinda threw me off the whole PvP aspect of the game, but now I must admit, when it's fair, it's fun. :v:

Thanks to everyone who joined me for the stream! That was the most awesome thing. I can't believe I actually beat the damn thing at SL1. It would have been cooler without Solaire's help but man was it still a journey.

Just noticed that the Jagged Ghost Blade has a fancy slash+backflip attack instead of a kick. Are there any other weapons with alternate kick moves? [editline]asdad[/editline] I swear the Jagged Ghost Blade has both the coolest and most useless moveset in the game.

Started with the Demon's Great Hammer and switched over to the Dragon Greataxe thing. Decided I'd join the Dragon covenant as well. Can't believe you need 30 Dragon Scales to get the torso stone.

Should I feel bad for invading people with my SL1 with Fire Axe+5 and great combustion? I seem to be killing them too easily.

I've only been invaded once and he was a cool guy. His name was like BusiestCleric520 or something. He gave me a blue titanite shard, a green titanite shard, and a titanite chunk. He then proceeded to kill me with a claw after running away for a while. It was still a neat experience and I am sure that if I had managed to get around him for a backstab, things may have gone more my way.

Wanted to get this game for PC. Is a controller really needed or can i do just fine with mouse and keyboard?
