why not just use poison arrows/throwing knives/dung pies from a distance? [editline]27th December 2012[/editline] also for pursuers you literally just have to roll directly through them and they go away

The highest I've seen was in the Darkroot Garden on the PS3. Someone left a message right next to the bonfire and it had the Undead Merchant on it. Can't remember how many ratings it had.
