you can invade infinitely upwards, it's summoning that's within 20 levels
I know but generally speaking the game tries to keep you within a certain range, which means at that point I was the ONLY possibility for him to invade. Bad luck.

Is it bad that I kind of prefer Demon's Souls over Dark Souls? I mean, the level design is just so much better. I mean, Anor Londo is cool and all, but Tower of Latria, holy shit. Just... holy shit.
So I got Dark Souls today and I have been playing through as a thief and right now using the Uchigatana but what I'm wondering is, would it be fine to use the Bandits Knife or later on Priscilla's Dagger as a viable weapon to kill shit for PvE?
I just want to play through the game with daggers if it's possible and not get my ass kicked by everything.

I'm assuming I shouldn't even bother with the black knights at the undead burg until I'm already several areas past this one and have beaten a couple of bosses

In Dark Souls most weapons are balanced enough so that as long as you pump the right stats, you'll do fine with anything. Priscilla's dagger for example gets a S stat bonus at the end of its upgrade line so if you put a good amount of points in that and upgrade it to +15 then you should be wrecking shit.
I'd recommend using your Uchi up to getting Priscilla's dagger because they both get stronger with dexterity.

They do make for great parrying practice, though.

Cool thanks, been leveling up my dexterity so looks like I'm good for now, I'll upgrade my Uchi until I can get Priscilla's dagger then.
Also is it possible to go through dual wielding? like lets say I wanted to dual wield 2 daggers?

One of the things I hated about Demon's Souls were the crystal lizards. The spawning system they had for them was all messed up and bad.
Also, would really like to see a Maiden in Black 2.0 for Dark Souls 2.
