How do the weapon enchant magics work? For example crystal magic weapon? If I understood it correctly, it adds the catalyst's magic adjustment to the weapon's damage?
God fuckin damn it, just lost all 84 humanitys I got from invading.
Welp its back to Anor londo for me. Gonna do a knight Kirk invasion this time.

I feel good-ish.
Game crashed last night while I was in the entrance to Blighttown from Valley of the Drakes, and just now I managed to get to the bonfire, then invade a few people because fuck bitches, then kill Queelag(and died right as she did, then again on my way to retrieve the bloodstain so I lost all those souls), then ring the bell and make my way back to Andre before the game fucked up again.
Does anyone want to summon a lonely Iron Tarkus in Anor Londo? SL55
Found a longsword early on and I've been spending plenty of souls and time trying to upgrade it. Is it worth it or am I just wasting my time? I feel like I'll find something much better than a basic longsword. I really like its moveset though with quick slashing attacks and a power thrust attack for corridors, and its working good for me so far.
C rating on both STR/DEX

A +15 Longsword with high str/dex is more than enough to clear the game, provided you're used to the moveset and can be effective with it.
Can you make a long sword divine and such if you've already spent time upgrading it? or is choosing to upgrade beyond +5 a permanent choice that prevents you from going into divine weaponry?

You can revert a +6, +7, +8, etc, weapon back to a +5 at any blacksmith by using the "Modify Weapon" option. Though honestly, I recommend just buying or farming another longsword up to +5 and then making it divine.
Oh god the Taurus demon is kicking my ass
Long swords drop often from the undead right outside the parish. Stack up on some humanity and slaughter them, or just buy them from Andre.

After you go through the fog, go down the stairs then turn and climb the ladder so you can kill the archers up there. Then climb back down and walk forward until Taurus drops down, then turn and run like hell then climb up. Drop attack on to his head when he comes over, and then either keep doing drop attacks or start dodging his shit and attacking when he's recovering from them.
Yeah i tried that, turns out i waited too long and the motherfucker just leapt up and swung me over the ledge in one swoop
goty
Don't give new players a complete guide to complete a boss if they don't ask for it. You're completely ruining the best way to experience the game for them.
The first time I fought the Taurus Demon, this happened.

Just invaded 4 people in the Undead Parish with the level 24 character I made to help my friend and found 2 ng+ people, one of them had full black knight armour with the black knight halberd, and another had full armour of thorns with a +15 washing pole and a grass crest shield, sad day.
I did beat the guy in black knight armour though.
Beat the gargoyles on my first try. Being human so you can summon the NPC right before the fight helps loads with two of them.
Also lol the gargoyle's axe curves when doing a 2h power attack

What armor is that? I MUST HAVE
What armor is that? I MUST HAVE
Looks like Ornstein's armour.
Honestly, the Gargoyles is the hardest fight until O&S. Or it was the first time I played.
gargoyles take literally 20 seconds to kill solo
yeah they're simple but the first time i played i had no idea what I was doing so i took my time with the first gargoyle.
the second gargoyle is on a timer, unless you kill the first one in which case it auto-spawns. so i took my sweet time and then suddenly there were two of them. And as a new player, two at once was hard.

he's more than an NPC
he's your brother

fuck your shit
When I was new, they kicked my ass three ways to Sunday. It's really hard (as a new idiot) to avoid their attacks; and once the second one comes in and spams fire; you might as well call it done if you're not confident about killing the first quickly.
However, I just brought in a summon and it was instantly 10x easier.

A lot of bosses can be killed in 20 seconds solo.
Right if anyone need's help in Anor Londo try and summon me please, basically Iron Tarkus, only need one more boss defeat to get the faith requirement low enough to join the sunbros! Soul Level 58 should be within range for most people right?
I can't even get to the hydra.
How am I suppose to dodge those homing missiles :(
Damn, my character is around 30, I'll try to catch up! Although my +5 Zweihander is making it difficult. And I'm busy with something else now :c
I'll probably hang around for a while, though I just got summoned and the guy got invaded, the phantom killed me in two hits with homing souls and used the 2 guardians as help :/

Go along the hill on the left and then run.
