yeah they're simple but the first time i played i had no idea what I was doing so i took my time with the first gargoyle. the second gargoyle is on a timer, unless you kill the first one in which case it auto-spawns. so i took my sweet time and then suddenly there were two of them. And as a new player, two at once was hard.
It's not a timer, it's when the first gargoyle reaches half health.
oh well nevermind then
just kicked manus's ass on my second try but really though, why is sif so fucking useless in that fight he spent the majority of the time just walking around being a stupid fucking dog woof woof FUCK YOU use your goddamn sword
He's good for a distraction but once he gets to low health and starts limping he's absolutely useless.
"his" goddamn sword is artorias', so he can't use it yet
its too bad i can't get the abyss great sword on this character, since i gave artorias' soul to ciaran for the gold tracer. thats the one with the front flippy spinny attacks right? i want that.
You could have just killed her and got her armor, her weapons and kept the soul. Just sayin'. :v:
You could have just killed her and got her armor, her weapons and kept the soul. Just sayin'. :v:
i realized that not 10 seconds afterwards i'm still bitter about it :v:
Just got to Blighttown, is it worth upgrading my weapons yet? I managed to fight through the beginning part with ease with the help of backstabs, but non-backstab attacks do close to no damage to the enemies there.

if I were you I'd haul my ass back to the undead parish and upgrade weapons asap
I just bought this game last night, playing with keyboard/mouse already got the hang of the controls, i killed every boss up until the garden. The gargoyle took me a couple tries though. This game is seriously a 60$ value its amazing glad i bought it.
Weapon upgrades ALWAYS > player upgrades, unless you need player upgrades to equip the weapon.
Where is the first place you may upgrade weapons? I am currently fighting the taurus demon, could I have upgraded before?
Where is the first place you may upgrade weapons? I am currently fighting the taurus demon, could I have upgraded before?
you technically could upgrade your stuff at that point, but it would take way too long because the only ones who drop titanite shards are those hollow soldiers with the shields, and the only blacksmith you have access to is all the way back in the new londo ruins beneath the FL shrine. you should be fine for now though, you won't have to wait long before you find the next blacksmith and more plentiful resources
So should I stick with my Uchi (currently +7) and keep going till its +15 or get the Chaos blade?
http://mmdks.com/lip At SL35 of this build I'm working on. Most of my points so far are poured into END/VIT. Already have the armor and sword at +4 and the shield is at +2 (upgrading due to increase in stability). I've yet to get the longbow upgraded to where I want or all the pyromancies I need. The build is an absolute blast, especially when you learn all the attacks of the sword and know what to use against which enemies and when. Been invading Sen's Fortress and managed to kick a gravelord sword user's ass before the toxicity got me. I can swing and attack at a fierce rate due to all my stamina. Bosses can be a challenge at first. Only requires patience if anything. Not sure why I set the covenant to Sunbro. Should be Chaos Servant for the pyromancy.
So should I stick with my Uchi (currently +7) and keep going till its +15 or get the Chaos blade?
Chaos Blade is really bad for PvE because you lose 20 HP every time you hit something, the higher damage isn't worth it because you're going to be hitting so many things.
I've done it, I have killed a player by rolling into them with the thorn armor. I truely feel like Knight Kirk now.
server's actually a really cool weapon. i like it.
Okay, going to upgrade my weapons now. Which is better, +15 normal or a +X lightning/fire? edit: Also, you guys say that the bandit's knife is better for BS, but the rapier does more damage during a BS? Should I just stick to that instead?
i use it on my sunbro so i can heal up just by killing. [editline]29th December 2012[/editline] depends on your stats, really. Lightning/fire don't get scaling bonuses, so if you plan on going to 40 or something, go to +15. if you want to stick with lightning/fire, don't put your stats higher than they need to be to use the weapon and just put points into vit/end instead.
Wow returned to the Undead Asylum and back at the Undead Parish in only 10 seconds, that note from the tutorial that said "good job, now straight ahead" makes me want to kill everything. Oh well, was pretty surprising and hilarious :v:
Goddamn, watching someone kill themselves with Power Within is my favorite thing to do in PvP.
What should I do after Hydra and the gold golem? Great Hollow?
wow i keep invading this dude in full smough's armor, ninja flipping using a lightning uchigatana, spamming twop + wotg over and over and fucking over again by far the cheesiest player i've ever fought against god damn is it annoying
What should I do after Hydra and the gold golem? Great Hollow?
Great Hollow has a bunch of respawning crystal lizards. They can be hard to get to though, and they run away pretty fast. I don't really go there, unless I want to go to Ash Lake.

Started playing this yesterday, I love it so far but I got one thing. Blighttown
server's actually a really cool weapon. i like it.
The Server's 1HR2s have some fuckin sick style, comparable to Priscilla's Dagger.
