I love how blighttown's design is specifically made just to fuck with you and make your day shitty. Not only is it almost pitch black, but it's also impossible to navigate.

He had an uchi and a shotel. so i just held my shield up until he got tired and switched to his shotel, then i two handed my axe and charged him, so he switched back to his uchi, and then i backed up and put my shield up. This happened about fourteen times, then he just rushed me out of desperation. I parried him and didn't even riposte, just parried and shrugged. then he died. he sent me a voice message that was basically ten seconds of him screaming incoherent things at me. it was awesome.

Anyone else getting "failed to invade?" Open NAT, UPnP enabled and I've managed to get a summon once, but from that point I can't invade anymore. Using the cracked red eye orb in Undead Parish by the way.

My SL19 fails most invasions in the Undead Parish for 5-10 invasions and then almost never fails any after that.

Nevermind, invaded the same guy twice in a row but he stood over the spawn point and backstabbed me both times :v: Whats the best item/method for invasions? I don't have that many cracked red eye orbs left.

Well, uh, that went swimmingly. I got invaded by the same dude twice, mere seconds after leaving the bonfire, and he was a basic knight. The only catch? Infinite Stamina, and R2 spam. I'm poiseless, so I can't do jack shit about it. First time he kills me, he points up and spazzes out on my corpse second time, he points down and sends me a voice message detailing in his prepubescent voice why I'm so bad. fucking lol'd. This is why I rarely ever do low level pvp.

I'm willing to bet that it's mostly new players who don't have 3074 forwarded that the game is trying to pit you against, causing you to fail. I suggest getting a real red eye orb (it's infinite uses), or joining darkmoons or forest hunters for some sustainable pvp. There's also gravelords, but gravelords tend to get fucked over a lot as the game lets only NG+ players be gravelorded, although anyone can invade you if they find your sign (it's only guaranteed to show up in the world of gravelorded player, but it should show up in about three or four other worlds as well.) Got sick of the gank parties and SL100+ dudes fucking around with hilarious gear. I did manage to piss off one gank party though, by doing a JUSTICE ROLL into Darkroot Basin and then chilling next to the hydra while the two sunbro phantoms and the host were sitting on the waterfall bridge very confused. The phantoms killed the hydra by throwing knives at it (although I think they were aiming for me) while the host was sending me fanmail on GFWL. He F4'd after a while, though. What's the levels you guys have beaten Oreo and Smores at (first time or while summoning)? I want to wield the BKGS while fastrolling, see? (Going to up dex by 3, end&vit by 1. Might need to stop wearing Ornstein's mask, sadly.)

Managed to play some PvP, was fun but the majority of people seem to camp and backstab as soon as you spawn in. Got one great battle in though, some guy dual wielding fist weapons invaded me and let me take out the surrounding enemies first, then we had a pretty long duel. Almost killed him, but then he caught me off guard and demolished me. Was really cool though, if only most online players were more interested in dueling rather than spawn-killing :v:

Hot damn I wish I took a picture of how much souls this one havel armored guy I invaded gave me, I got over 100,000 on killing him.

Anyone been having trouble with invading/summoning since the update? Edit: Disagree's!?!? I've been having huge problems with invasions :s

After 8 "illusionary wall ahead" signs, I found one to be true. I fucking love some of the things people write. Seeing 8x "Praise the Sun!"s; or seeing a couple "I did it!" after a boss. My favorites are usually "Imminent Rear" next to a bent over corpse; or stuff like "Imminent Gorgeous View" and "Amazing Chest" in front of the first blacksmith. :v:

I +1 every "Skeleton?" that I see. There's a little walkway next to where the firebomb throwing hollows are and a small indent you can hide in. When I found someone wrote "Skeleton?" in there, it was great.

"Tight spot" was funnier than it should have been the first time I saw it
