Why does this game have to be so unforgiving? I had 36,000 souls and was on my way to a bonfire to spend them. Suddenly I end up in Blighttown and step through planks and end up in a place I can't get out of. I walked across one of those swaying bridges and fell off. I respawned at the Firelink Shrine and I can't find my way back there to reclaim my humanity (humanities?) and souls. Why game!? WHY!!???
Eventually you learn to stop caring about lost souls/humanity. Honestly, upgrading your gear and learning the combat are way more important than leveling up. It's perfectly doable to finish the game at SL1.
Welp, my PS3 controller broke just as I started my most ambitious project ever. DARK SOULS: CHECK YOUR PRIVILIGE Me PVPing as the giant princess.
Is there any way to get the flippy ring without killing the dude that has it?
Beware the knight of thorns invading. hehehe
Swapped from my Siegmeyer gear to my Kirk gear just for you bby.
Is there any way to get the flippy ring without killing the dude that has it?
Nope, unless you want to be weird and cheat by using Cheat Engine :v:
You'll have to get lucky, Gwyndolin is dead so you have to invade my host. [editline]30th December 2012[/editline]
Nope, unless you want to be weird and cheat by using Cheat Engine :v:
Does it work again?

All I ever want to have is the jagged ghost blade because of it's psycho moveset, it's not a really good weapon but fuck that I want to have fun. What's the fastest way to get there? I just beat that butterfly boss in that jungle type of enviroment with my assassin char. Also when do I get my cloak magic or such? Later in the game?

Omg finally got to the elevator after getting killed 10 times by the Armored Tusk.
The what?
The what?
He probably means the armored boar in The Duke's Archives.
He probably means the armored boar in The Duke's Archives.
I was about to say, I was thinking he was in the undead church and somehow dragged the boar all the way there.
He probably means the armored boar in The Duke's Archives.
But he was asking about getting from Parish to Firelink an hour ago.
But he was asking about getting from Parish to Firelink an hour ago.
He works really, REALLY fast. :v:
No I mean right at the start of Undead Parish there's something called the Armored Tusk(according to the Wiki), I just wanted to kill that bitch before getting to the elevator. The Undead guys in the church weren't that much of a problem. I just blocked with my shield and bashed them with the club. [editline]30th December 2012[/editline]
He probably means the armored boar in The Duke's Archives.
I don't even know whhere the Duke's Archives is :v:, seems to be way ahead of me.
You can backstab it. It's kind of hard to watch a boar get a sword shoved up it's ass though.
Also I really feel how playing an assassin dagger character is 200times harder than a full knight big weapon guy.
Also I really feel how playing an assassin dagger character is 200times harder than a full knight big weapon guy.
Get the flippy ring. The flippy ring makes it all better. [editline]30th December 2012[/editline] Also, parry.
Parry dagger works with assassin type dudes

Praise the sun!
Fucken corpses, at Anor Londo, kill one of the Painting Guardian, I walk forward to walk past it but the corpse still has collision and pushed me off the beams. Anyways I love running around in my shadow set with my Uchigatana, people in heavy armour are easy because it's all just dodging and hitting them. But no these stupid Painting guardians dual wielding and doing flips just like me so you have like 4 people rolling around at the same time all throwing knives and using fast weapons. Now picture 2 people doing that on the high beams, god damn im like rolling on the high beams to avoid the knifes and we keep flipping off the damn beams, both me and the guardians.
Parry dagger works with assassin type dudes
Parrying has worked p well for me with my BKS
If you are the type of person who runs away from a invader and just sends a white phantom after the invader while you rapid heal him with a estus flask, I hate you so much.
Also, I got 50k souls - wat do?
shit, from what? Get to the blacksmith and upgrade your weapons, preferably. Weapon upgrades should always take priority. To get from +1 to +5 you need Titanite Shards, which drop from everything in the Parish (esp. Balder Knights), or you can buy them from the blacksmith for (I think) 200 each. I use them EVERY invasion with a phantom.
I'm going to stream Dark Souls, I'm terrible at it so it might be humourous for you vets but I've also played it for a short while on the Xbox. I'm not sure if this is the kind of things you guys want but whatever. http://www.twitch.tv/zombiedawgs
