Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition(360,PS3,PC)v3 - Dark Magic is perfectly balanced - Games

Well is it good to level up on vitality as assassin? I already got 25 of agility which is useful for damage on bows and daggers. Should I level my condition/stamina or vitality?

Its a little difficult to hit the host with it while he is sprinting in the other direction while his phantom is on my ass.

The only enemy that really truly stands between you and the elevator in the church is the Knight of Berenique.

Mostly got all of them from farming enemies while waiting to help someone out as a phantom and then some souls from a victory on a few bosses. I'm still a level 5.

Each time I retrieved it, he would bash me and kill me. I could have skipped him of course, but I aim to kill all the mini-bosses, which is why I said he was blocking (as in not physically blocking the entrance) my access to the elevator.

He isn't a mini-boss, he's just an elite mook. There's two more later on with butthole sealant so you can't crit them.

By the way, can you like finish the game with beginner gear such as the longsword, the spear or the reinforced club? I've been upgrading the reinforced club, but the thing looks so goofy.

The longsword is trash.

But yeah you can do whatever you want, you can make just about any weapon viable. Some guy on /vg/ beat the game with nothing but two bonewheel shields.

BF can't summon me, like ever. He always gets summoning failed. But yet other people summon me just fine, and he can summon other people fine too. Whats going on? We're not trying to do this over the same network btw, it's all online.

If he can see the sign fine but it always fails, one (Not both!) of you should quit to the main menu and reload your character.

Completely new to dark souls, first playthrough and it looks like you guys are saying the drake sword is pretty terrible, I'm about level 30 now and I've killed the capra demon, should I be using a new weapon by now and what should I be using?

Level doesn't really matter as much as stats in certain areas do for this kind of thing.

Honestly, the Drake sword's acceptable, at least up to Sen's when you can get a lightning spear...
