Go through the Undead Church and into that little area where blacksmith Andrei is. Rest at the bonfire there and head out the door to the big fortress with the giant gates. That's the direction you should be heading. Stay out of the area with the ghosts for now. You won't need to go there until later in the game.

Are you fucking kidding me. I was doing great, had racked up 2000 souls and still had two Estus flasks, and then suddenly this fucking demon shithead falls out of nowhere and two-hits me while I try to run away. But apparently you can't "traverse the white light" during boss fights so I was helpless while it reamed my ass. Fuck you, game. If you foist stupid fuckin' boss fights on me out of nowhere and then don't let me run, then fuck you. I wish I didn't buy a controller for this shit.

Also, where do I go after I pass the church and light a bonfire in the Undead Parish? The gate up next is locked with a big blob of steel thinking about stuff, I'm not sure if I should go down below or to the second floor of the church since both have guys that kick my ass

I dropped 5 cracked red eye orbs for her/him, left me 1. The game crashed for my friend because of the lag from the glowing lights though...

Hey how do you turn into "human form" I want to PvP.

I'm thinking about making a faith/dexterity/strength build. What stats would be the most efficient? And should I worry about intelligence? I also want to use crystal soul spears as a secondary.

You can only be invaded when the area boss is alive.

well not really the class you pick at the start of the game only determines you starting stats and equipment you [I]could[/I] dedicate yourself to playing like a thief, but you're not bound to that. any class can end up being any kind of build

There are almost never any enemies that stand with their backs towards me.

the bandit's knife you start with does higher critical hit damage than other weapons. you could kick smaller enemies to stagger them and circle around for a backstab but if you're having trouble with that, you should practice pulling off parries/ripostes, they do 3x damage while backstabs only do 2x damage

Okay, just tried to coop with a friend and after going an hour without a bonfire, we get invaded by a darkwraith and both killed in one hit. This isn't my game. Sorry. I'm uninstalling.
