With 2 people its super easy because one guy keeps the demon distracted and the other just deals with the dogs.

How to gaping dragon

Got invaded for the first time. There was no fuckoff-large "YOU ARE BEING INVADED" message, there was just spontaneously a phantom upstairs in the undead parish as I was heading to fight the belfry gargoyles for the first time with Solaire. This was my only 2 mins in human form after being hollow for almost the whole game until then. I'd just cleared out the swarm so I had my spear equipped, and my drake sword was in inventory due to tight weight limits. We dance around the columns a bit (he's cartwheeling, naturally) and I do some pitiful damage to him. He gets a single falchion hit on me and 4/5 of my health goes up in a blast of fire, with the rest following immediately after. [I]Enjoyable.[/I]

[I]Enjoyable.[/I][/QUOTE] You didn't notice the "DARK SPIRIT X HAS INVADED" message? Other than that, PvP in low level areas is dominated by assholes. Also, lose the Drake Sword. Or at least upgrade something else while you use the drakesword so you have something worth a damn when the Drake Sword becomes complete shit in an hour.

The parish is the worst place to experience the invasion system because that's where all the twinks hang out.

Only Parish invaders I've made is a flippy ninja with a +5 bandits knife or my current one which is just riposting people with a rapier/dark hand.

I'm thinking about trying to make a stealth character. Making use of the Ring of Fog, Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring, Aural Decoy, and Chameleon. Honestly though I'm not sure if Chameleon works on NPCs.

Although you would probably end up invading someone using much better gear.

Fucking invaders man I've yet to fight against an invader that wasn't total and completely bullshit First time was when I first went human in parish, insta-died to a twink who never took any damage. Okay, whatever. Level 33 now, in the depths. Get invaded right at bonfire. No biggie, got my friend as phantom. Except the dude literally teleports behind me and lag-backstabs right in the bonfire area both me and my friend in one or two goes. I literally face him to block an attack and suddenly I'm in a backstab animation as he appears behind me. At least all I really lost was one humanity because I was right at the bonfire, but still. The only damage I could do was my lightning spear for when my friend distracted him at the bonfire door (and boy, did it do plenty), but other than that one time none of my lightning spears did any damage oddly. I don't know if I'll ever bother being human at all for the rest of the game honestly, it's not worth the trouble- too many bullshit lag or twink killers plaguing the whole game up to this point. Too much bullshit with the system.
