Fucking invaders man
I've yet to fight against an invader that wasn't total and completely bullshit
First time was when I first went human in parish, insta-died to a twink who never took any damage. Okay, whatever.
Level 33 now, in the depths. Get invaded right at bonfire. No biggie, got my friend as phantom. Except the dude literally teleports behind me and lag-backstabs right in the bonfire area both me and my friend in one or two goes. I literally face him to block an attack and suddenly I'm in a backstab animation as he appears behind me. At least all I really lost was one humanity because I was right at the bonfire, but still. The only damage I could do was my lightning spear for when my friend distracted him at the bonfire door (and boy, did it do plenty), but other than that one time none of my lightning spears did any damage oddly.
I don't know if I'll ever bother being human at all for the rest of the game honestly, it's not worth the trouble- too many bullshit lag or twink killers plaguing the whole game up to this point. Too much bullshit with the system.
Geto to level 50 and hang around anor londo, Ill give ya a fun fight.
Anybody still need help with the gaping dragon? I'm in the area, once again SL30.
So, do the body types have any differences other than cosmetic ones? If so, what are they and what should I choose?
they're purely for aesthetics
just invaded a guy in the township who had a sunbro with him
they were both standing right where i spawn, both cast twop and wotg spam me to death
and then WELL WHAT IS IT HURR DURR
turned off my xbox
i'm done
[sub][sub]i'm fucking done[/sub][/sub]
Blighttown is ridiculously bullshit. I'm just walking on a path when my character somehow decides to take a fall and instantly die.
I was at the top of Sen's Fortress, about to go for the boss, when a Dorkmoon invades me. I thought nothing of it, having killed multiple Dorks before, but I see this one and realize 'This guy is probably going to be a massive faggot for no reason' and so it was that all he would use is WRATH OF THE GODS.

You'd love the Great Hollow then. :v:

After dying about 15 times within the span of 10 minutes, I'm done playing for now :suicide: I'll probably finish blighttown tomorrow or something.

i don't care what they change in dark souls 2 as long as they don't have anything remotely similar to that bullshit excuse for a spell

He was using a Lightning Crystal Halberd as well. That fucker.
I don't get the whole "invade to kill as quickly as possible". Whenever I invade, I don't do it in absurd fucking gear. Sure, it's better than you'll currently have but I have fun with it, walk towards you, stalk you, no backstabs and just fuck your day up in straight up combat. My favorite invasion gear in Parish is currently dual cestus. Or carrying a whip or two, that shit is fun.
My bro got my regular Dark Souls for Christmas. Am I missing out on that much by not getting Prepare to Die?
Well I invaded somebody using the Forest Hunter thing. By the time I got there the person was already dead by the bandit near the ruins and I see "You were indicted". I didn't even touch him that asshole.
Not really, just a couple of boss fights, armor, and new area with OP magic.
What about PvP? I'm not particularly good at the game, I'm stuck a bit after you fight the Taurus demon on the way to the first bell, but PvP looked pretty fun from the small amounts of it that I've seen.
Ok so, luckily I had my friend over recently and he got me through Blighttown, so I'm back to [del]dying[/del] adventuring in Dark Souls.
I'm doing alright though the only thing I'm not understanding right now is everyone's obsession with Priscilla.
EDIT: By everyone I just mean her fans.

wog is not even on the same level of bullshit as TWoP is
Holy shit that guy wasn't kidding when he said Dark Souls ruins lives.
Just had the friend I cooped with blow a fuse at me for being a wimpy quitter and refuses to talk to me from now on. :v:

I sometimes used to do similar in Demon's with the old monk. Seeing as they had to enter the room through fog and you could wotg them through the wall as they're entering and there was nothing they could do.

Do you really think this is a game anymore?
Do you really think this is a game anymore?
I want to get off Mr. Bones' wild ride.
Oh yeah, that's why I stopped PvPing in Oolacile.
because people who pvp there are WoG spamming dickholes. I'd rather fight people who are really unprepared for PvP and don't know what the Cat Covenant ring does or equipped invaders who usually aren't bad than people who just spam Pursuers, Dark Bead, Wrath of the Gods, and Tranquil Walk
I think I've seen one park ranger use Pursuers and in the forest it is literally no issue because there's so many treeeeees
Gotta take a sippy quick.
Does King Jeremiah respawn? Wanted to get the Notched Whip, so I got him to invade my world. Didn't even get to hit him once before he decided to walk off a cliff. Yes, not roll, not run, he just calmly walked off the cliff. Did a quit and save and the whip didn't spawn.
Dark Souls is pretty cruel in some ways :v:
Is there anywhere else I can pick up a notched whip or I am screwed out of luck?

You could go for the Sanctuary Guardian's whip if you wanted.
Finished Blighttown, now onwards to Sen's Funhouse.
[editline]2nd January 2013[/editline]
And died to the first trap instantly :suicide:
[editline]2nd January 2013[/editline]
As SOON as I walked in.

Is there anyone around 41SL who can help me with this? :v:

but these are the best boss fights in the game
you're missing out on a lot of fun without the DLC

AoTA is worth it just for Artorias.
He's the hardest boss (Once you get over O&S's difficulty) and the most fun to fight.
Finished Paint World of Ariamis, was great. Probably one of the best level designs, and the color palette fit well too. Enemies were fun to fight as well. On to O&S!
