Tomb of the Giants is destroying me. I can't even get past the ramps with the prism stones, the section with the two giant skeletons and the archer on that tiny area is just too much. Any tips?
What's the best weapon for a dex build in terms of damage with dex at 40? No heavy weapons.

Any tips?
Kill that first giant, and slowly walk to the edge. You should see the eyes of the next giant skeleton below you. You can do a drop attack on him. It might one-hit him. You can do it again for the next floor down, although it's not as easy. If you drop down to the third giant skeleton, the next ramp will be right next to him.

Fuck the Capra Demon. I know the strategy to defeat him, but I've only ever reached those stairs once. Cheap as hell, having to fight him in that tiny area.

I've literally never had a problem with the Capra Demon. Never died to him. First time playing the game, I actually had more trouble with the Moonlight Butterfly.
I've literally never had a problem with the Capra Demon. Never died to him. First time playing the game, I actually had more trouble with the Moonlight Butterfly.
Its the opposite for me, I did the butterfly in one try and the capra in 2.

I ended up going back to the Undead Merchant and buying like 30 firebombs to throw at it.

[editline]2nd January 2013[/editline] Just finished Sen's Funhouse. I didn't have fun.
Went to the church on my thief dude to fuck with new players; right as I walked off the path toward andre/the bonfire, fog gates appeared. Dude was wearing Gold-hemmed Black set, and cast Tranquil Walk before I could even see him. Sent him a message after he killed me saying that it was a dick move to Tranquil Walk new players, and that it was funny that he needed the slow to get kills.
Sounds like he used cheat engine to change his level and invade lower levels.
Doubt it, you only need 18 faith to cast TWoP and it's just in the Catacombs, getting the gold hemmed set isn't hard either.
This is my current build, what should I increase next? http://mmdks.com/mm4 I'm fine with my current vitality and endurance (so far, might change later). Should I go for maxing my dex at 40 next or increase my faith to 30 for miracles? Almost at O&S by the way.

It'd be worth putting more into faith for Darkmoon Blade and Sunlight Blade, both very powerful miracles. At the moment though, you'd do better to get your dex up more because that Uchigatana is top shit. I'd also say don't put off increasing your Vit to later, it's worth more than you think.

Use Emit Force, Lightning spear or Karmic Justice in combination with 40 Dex, or get the better miracles and balance the lower dex with the fuck-huge damage. The reason Solaire is so strong is because he's a Vit build, do not underestimate it.
I was at the top of Sen's Fortress, about to go for the boss, when a Dorkmoon invades me. I thought nothing of it, having killed multiple Dorks before, but I see this one and realize 'This guy is probably going to be a massive faggot for no reason' and so it was that all he would use is WRATH OF THE GODS.
I was actually darkmooning yesterday in Sen's and killed some guy using 3 wrath of gods
I'm planning on buying this, but is a controller recommended? I heard that the games controls are horrible for PC.
I'm planning on buying this, but is a controller recommended? I've been using a basic Xbox controller, they're cheap and easy enough to get so don't let that stop you.
Is anyone else having issues with the Cheat Engine? I can't seem to get it to work at all now. It either crashes my game, or it won't show any of my stats that I can change. The only thing it'll let me do is change my currently equipped items. I would really like to make changes to my cleric co-op build.

Speaking of CE does anyone have the list of all the item codes? I can use the search function to find them, I just want to change the upgrade value rather than having to manually upgrade each one.
Found a new cheat table that might work.

Item IDs are now randomized now, so that's why things like the item setter don't work. You can still change your stats/level though, so people can still have infinite HP. (Good job From?) Someone on the CE forums posted how to change items now:
Step 1; buy an item(titanite shard, Moss clump) Step 2; find the ID of the item, (0003E8, 00010E) Step3; Make a hex search for the id. Step 4; Drop the item. Step 5; Make a search for any changed value. Step 6; Make a note of any value that is FFFFFF Step 7; Pick the item back up again. Step 8; Right click and 'Browse memory region' Step 9; Drop the item again. The memory segments should change to FFFFFF and a byte should change from 01(or however many you had) to 00. If this does not happen, repeat steps 4-8 Step 10; Upon finding the proper item ID, change the id from 0003E8(titanite shard) to 00042E(titanite slab) Bonus Step; find the byte that changed from 01-00, this signifies quantity.
That doesn't change the sort ID though, and I have no idea how to change that. So for it to actually work you can only change weapons into other weapons, armor into other armor, ect. (I tried turning a shard into a zweihander and it just went poof) [editline]2nd January 2013[/editline]
Speaking of CE does anyone have the list of all the item codes? For example, 350905 is a zweihander. 9 is chaos, 05 is +5. Normal +15 zweihander would be 350015.
mind explaining how to change stats/level want to make a darkmoon blade int build for pvp
mind explaining how to change stats/level want to make a darkmoon blade int build for pvp
Just use the new table. Can't find a link of it, so: http://puu.sh/1IofB It can do most things the old table could (And a bit more) but it can't edit items.

If I've got an unupgraded Zwei, I search for 350000 and change that value, but I need that for other items.
