Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition(360,PS3,PC)v3 - Dark Magic is perfectly balanced

Just played this properly for the first time, I don't think I have found a game that hard in a while.
not when the game tells you exactly where to go, no
It most definitely does not tell you exactly where to go. Remove whatever crawled up your ass and died and try being a halfway decent human being.
I had a real shitty time with them at first. The real trick is either use Solitare - or try to take out the first ASAP as the second one is on a timer.
everybody seemed to have a really shitty time with the gargoyles, I actually had no problem with it for some reason
(except that with the FPS fix thing I got about 4-5fps whenever they breathed fire, but when I uninstalled that it was 2easy2peasy)
the way I did it was to just focus hard on the first gargoyle, run around in circles around them and block light attacks, etc
i hear firebombs are pretty awesome against them too, never tried it though

Oscar tells you your objective in the asylum
C.W. tells you your objective again at FL Shrine, and gives a detailed explanation if you press him further
9 out of 10 keys tell you what door they open
I'm sorry about that crippling ADD of yours, but for the rest of us this isn't that difficult
not when the game tells you exactly where to go, no
The gargoyles gave me a key to the lower undead burg, now idea how to get there.
Let's start an SL1 run at three in the morning
what could go wrong

People must love being around you.
A+ community for this game. Reminds me of 4chan.
Opens the narrow passage leading below
at the far face of the great bridge in
the Undead Burg.
that is pretty damn clear considering there is only one bridge
also the gargs dont drop the key

ad hominem.
Moving on, You don't have to kill that guy in the church when you first enter the undead parish? I managed to throw both of us off the wooden plank bridge and was surprised he didn't respawn.
How popular are invasions in the lower burg?
So I just realized something
Getting banned on FP is a lot like dieing in dark souls
Inevitable, and sets you back, but in the end it doesn't really matter
How popular are invasions in the lower burg?
Not very. Plenty around the Parish, Sens, even Blighttown, but the lower burg is so short that no-one really bothers invading it. Might seem appealing given how many people summon for Capra, but with the time it takes to invade they could've moved on or challenged the boss already. Not worth it.
after hundreds of hours of making it to the 4 kings and starting over, and various pvp shenanigans, dlc shit and what not, i FINALLY beat gwyn and god damn does it feel good
NG+ here i come
How does one fight/kill ghosts?
How does one fight/kill ghosts?
transient curse. there should be a couple on the corpse in the pot right before the bridge

i dont understand your question
you don't really have to kill anything aside from bosses. and he's just a mini boss of sorts, so he doesn't respawn

What i meant is that to get progress you had to encounter him when i was unknowingly going to the wrong place.
Man, cursing just does not want to work.
There was this guy in Oolacile Township with infinite HP and I really wanted to curse him, but I couldn't get it to work...
So I gave in to the steam sale and bought this on PC finally.
You guys seem to have the idea that this game does tell you exactly where to go all the time. It doesn't. I don't need it to, but even having played through it before up to a certain point, some of it isn't very well explained.
The great hollow for instance
What's a good co-op level for the Oolacile Township?

the game wouldn't tell you to go to a hidden, optional area, smarty pants

Same applies for the Painted World. Although that place is REALLY annoying and the only reward is staring at the tail of a fluffy dragon lady.

You're right, the Gargoyles are actually impossible to beat and there's no actual game beyond them because no one can beat them alone. This whole board and community is actually a clever ruse, and you've fallen into our trap. The PvP videos that I post have actually been meticulously edited frame by frame, and the lore is written by some guys on 4chan who pass it along to the rest of us. Honestly we really don't know if there are two bells...quite frankly there might not even be ONE, considering they're guarded by the immortal, impossibly difficult gargoyles. Man I hope there's a sequel that allows us to progress.
Or, more likely, you're being a whiny cunt and complaining instead of asking for help like everyone else on this fucking board. Kill enemies to gain humanity, or go farm the rats, they drop it frequently. Put on your big boy pants, this game won't hand you victory on a fucking silver platter your immature cock.
Now bend over, Mary Sue, and enjoy Dark Souls.

It was a joke, but yeah. I only use the Red Sign Soapstone out of all of those though.
why aren't you invading while naked with the Xanthous crown and Channeler's trident only every time
do you even know how to play this game??
What armor sets can you guys recommend for SL80? I'm currently wearing Ornstein's but it's unupgradable so yeah.
Swag > armor
Eastern chest + sealer hood + Havel hands/legs = 76 poise and swag as fuck.

I just wear Silver Knight's armor. That may just be me though.
So, I left a friend play the game for a while before buying it since it's on sale.
