He used a trainer.
ad hominem. Moving on, You don't have to kill that guy in the church when you first enter the undead parish? I managed to throw both of us off the wooden plank bridge and was surprised he didn't respawn.
I killed him by dropping the gate on him by accident, felt like a bad ass. :v:
Sen's opened. Time to explore the dark forest instead. Thank you frampt for giving me a reason to keep all those useless swords/armies I've carried this whole time up to this point. Jumped up 6-7 levels alone from all the souls and was able to upgrade my longsword to max divine

Atorias why I should actually blame my great lightning spear I used... Atorias had like, 1 hit left on him. He did that big jump attack and I dodged it just fine. I used Great Lightning Spear right after, but it didn't cast fast enough and I hit him while he was in mid-air doing that jumping spin attack. I was still in an attack animation and I couldb't dodge it. So he one-hit me. I have it all recorded too :v:
I never felt the need to go over level 120 :s [editline]3rd January 2013[/editline] Anyone on PC want to help me do the 4 kings around level 50, doing a no shield run and its a pain.
While it is true that the player should know where to go at all times, the fact that so many people need to ask is proof that Dark Souls does a really bad job of explaining it to players.
Close enough right?
So I bought dark souls, do I need to install any unofficial patches before playing?
DsFix http://blog.metaclassofnil.com/?tag=dsfix
And this mouse fix if you don't have a controller http://darksouls.nexusmods.com/mods/28
Did they change the way Four Kings works? It seems like they spawn a hell of a lot quicker now.
The point actually was, that I believe that even those who do not know what to do and do not know where to go, are actually just not exploring. When I beat the Gargoyles for the first time, I sat down for a while and thought about what I had seen on my journey this far, and I remembered the graveyard behind firelink, that one locked door near Solaire and the several keys I found and that strange demon thing I saw near the blacksmith. And that creepy place with the invincible ghosts. So I guessed I just had to check those places out, except for creepy ruins because I didn't own anything new that could help me. I'm not saying that Dark Souls gives you a pretty clear description of everything (even if it does apparantly, I never read key descriptions), but that's part of it's charme, isn't it? Most games these days just tell you instantly and constantly, what you have to do, in every detail. You don't even need to think about stuff yourself anymore, you get told to just go there, destroy that, stuff like that. I'm not criticising those who ask for a direction or anything, I'm just thinking about this stuff right now. A scythe would be arguably more accurate, judging by that picture.
A scythe would be arguably more accurate, judging by that picture.
But... the weapon they use is even called a crescent axe. :v:
That onion headed motherfucker that waits outside the gate reset the ball tumbler mechanism didn't he? DIDN'T HE?
That onion headed motherfucker that waits outside the gate reset the ball tumbler mechanism didn't he? And then he runs back down to his little spot wondering how he'll get past the ball.

I think it would be kind of cool in Dark Souls 2, if you could summon your other character slots as NPCs for certain boss fights. I'm not sure how it would be set up, but I think it would be pretty fun.
Guys, guys, I need your help! Quite some time ago there was this trailer/music/video thing posted either here or in the last thread (I think it was here though). There was this epic song playing and I remember it had a silent part with only bells in it (the video showed the player ringing those in the undead parish). There were quotations of NPCs in the background and the most distinct scene I remember is the Onion knight running across the Ashlake sands, shouting "I am Siegmeyer of Catarina and you shall feel my wrath!". Does anyone know which video I mean?

I love you.
I'm terrible at this, I keep getting owned by the skeletons after the start area unless I can separate them or get lucky and knock one off a ledge.
Don't go for the skillingtons, go right instead of left and you'll go to the area you're supposed to head to.
I finally got something that can run games worth a damn and installed Dark Souls with DSFix. I'm having an issue where after i create a new character and i reach the first loading screen, the game crashes. Can someone help me?

Why did he take out that fat nice person at the end? ;_;
I'm terrible at this, I keep getting owned by the skeletons after the start area unless I can separate them or get lucky and knock one off a ledge.
You don't need to go that way until much later, only reason to do it now is the loot most of which can be easily obtained by just running through it all.
Don't go for the skillingtons, go right instead of left and you'll go to the area you're supposed to head to.
I went right instead of left and I found another route that takes me to the skeletons v:v:v
