Not to mention half the people doing such builds in the first place (at least, ones I've been invaded by) use hacks that make them impervious to all damage (sans falling). Seriously its stupid to try and argue that exploiting the game to invade low level characters with low level items by you using your high level items with the same soul level character (to bypass the system put in place to avoid invasions from people way higher level) is anything more than cheese and trolling. In every other game this is called exploiting, pretending like it isn't one in dark souls because "ungh darks souls is a hardcore game where skill is the only thing that matters and dieing is apart of the game therefore exploits dont exist" is stupid. Just admit you like to cheese low level characters and as such accept people who DC when they run into you as a no more invalid or cheese than what you are trying to do.

I suck at this game, I can't even beat the Taurus demon.

I keep getting invaded at anor londo by this one person and he is backstabbing me from the front. I had somebody else summoned too for the boss fight and he kept front-stabbing that person too.

You know, i'm starting to think that +5 Lightning weapons are a bit too overkill for level 50 odds Anor Londo Invasions...

Whoever thought up of Smough's running attack is a bad person.

Just admit you like to cheese low level characters and as such accept people who DC when they run into you as a no more invalid or cheese than what you are trying to do.[/QUOTE] you know that it doesn't take that much investment in points to get to a particular weapon's requirements to stay at a low level, right? what were you whining about? laitos? you can find that shit at the beginning of Blighttown - not high level at all. if you pick wanderer, you can start using that at level 14 at the least is that an exploit? no. is it cheap? no shit. they just know more about the game and build-making than you. everyone starts out inexperienced. don't like it? don't go human, but you're going to miss out on those "fair" fights that do happen, and the way-more-fun jolly co-operation, your main sources of experience. you really won't get much fun out of this game through PvE alone, believe me I tried

It's not fitting to call other players cheap in this game because this game [b]is[/b] cheap. That's like, the point of this game. To offer rewards from overcoming the cheapness.

Holy shit. I just finished fighting O&S. I decided to take out Smough first, because reasons. I stayed close to Raichu's legs, and attacked when he finished attacking. Eventually, he got me with his grab and left me with a silver of health left. But then, the god intervened, and he clipped into one of the walls in the arena. About a minute later, he died instantly. I kind of want a rematch.

Beat Biggie and Smalls on run two, Smalls first. I don't see how it's even a remotely hard fight if you just exploit the pillars. Yeah, Smough's openings are a bit rough, but just learn to roll away after getting in a hit and you'll be fine. Double fine if you have any ranged. Also, I've never had a good invasion. Let me lay down the three player ones I've had. The SL's are very rough guess. SL14 - Guy comes in, just starts strafing me. I can hit him, but I'm only doing about 2 damage with my Halberd. He doesn't attack, absorbs hits. Think he's not intelligent or letting me win, I want to get it over with faster. Do a power attack. Instantly back-stabbed, instant death, does the shrug animation. This was with my last humanity before Bell Gargoyles when I had difficulty with them. SL50 - In Anor Londo. He runs in, stops, does a bow. I awkwardly repeat the bow, keeping great distance. He steps back, shows off some huge AoE fire magic. Welp, this'll be fucking fun. Early in, he gets a backstab but I survive. Then he whips out that evil-hand dealio. Misses fucking constantly. He's spamming it all over and I'm just poking him with the Crystal Halberd I had at the time. Was doing absolute pathetic damage, probably in the 20-50 range. I had a small hope to win, but very small. Eventually he gets frustrated that he's never going to hit me with the soul-sucking-faphand or whatever and pulls out a katana. Goes ape-shit with it, and I get nicked once. I never had time to heal, so it was an instant death. At least he gives me a bow, but still fuck that guy - I didn't want to be human anyways. SL62 - I just entered that part of the forest that requires the crest. I thought I was hollow and I only had 3000 souls so I was throwing caution in the wind. I accidentally aggro'd about four ghosts at one time in that area and was getting my shit ripely kicked. As I'm about to die, I see a person appearing in the background with the flashing banner "(some faggot) has invaded." The second his feet touch the ground, I'm dead. He just looks around, really confused. I respawn, walk four steps and recollect my few souls. Wasn't even mad, I totally forgot I went human. :v:

My first time playing, I killed him in about 5 hits. I never had troubles with the Taurus Demon.
