What?! They're planning to shut them down?
They were going to shut them down back in May, but they decided to keep them up. I assume this will mean they'll keep them up even longer.

They were planning to shut them down a long time ago. But once they put that news up, tons of people started replaying it. They ended up keeping the servers going because so many people are still playing it right now.

That's actually exactly the same I'll do tomorrow. Holy crap I need to beat it before they change their mind again.
Beat capra, time for the Gaping vagina dragon again
I've got a spear and heater shield both upgraded to +5 right now, didn't cost much or take much to do. Really i'm just pouring points into endurance and a few here and there for dex/str.
not really sure what else to do.

He's easy as fuck as long as you use one strategy. Gonna spoil it since it let me beat him without a scratch.
[sp]Just keep your distance until he does the slam-face-on-ground deal. Wait for him to charge into a wall, and then get in about two-to-five attacks. Flee, rinse, repeat. Around half health, he started spewing poison on the ground. He'll look like a cat coughing up a hairball, just run really far away doing that. Everything else is easily dodged.[/sp]
I'd hate to be that guy who summons a phantom to help with the two archers, have them both killed. Go right around the corner and then get shot off down to his death from because i just spawned there and took out my own Dragon Slayer Bow.
So Jericho_RUS was nice enough to lend me a hand for the Queelag battle today, since we were trading anyway.

A suuh-weet session indeed, Jerry!
You thought Dark Souls was hard? No Dark Souls is easy.

To be entirely honest, Dark Souls hasn't been all -that- hard. It just takes some getting use to is all. The worst 'hardness' it has is some boss fights. Big whoop, that's what boss fights are for.
Highwind I sent you a friend request and you ignored it. :(

and those can be done in jolly cooperation
When I was deciding if I should pick this game up or not, I was pretty doubtful when so many people implied "IT'S THE ONLY GAME THAT'S HARD THAT MEANS IT'S A GOOD GAME" but I bought it anyway and I certainly love it for its unique world and gameplay, not because I'm a sadist who likes difficult games.

I don't see where the source of the rage is. No drake tail?
also Dark Souls has one of the best game communities I've ever seen, everyone's being helpful and kind to newbies

Use the Master Key or I think the Mysterious Key.
Backtrack through the area you went through to get around that big gate in front of the church, with all the hollows. You'll find a key.
Thanks guys!

oink oink oink
I also got the Gargoyle helm, weird looking thing.
Argh, wish I unlocked shortcut to sens fortress and stuck around for some boss co-op there before I went to anor londo :( Didn't think it would be a one way trip.
On that note, anor londo is damn purty.

Dark souls isn't hard for the sake of being hard, its just punishing when you make mistakes, and is designed to take advantage of trial-and-error style gameplay to learn from such mistakes
If you don't make many mistakes, then the game can be pretty easy, if slow-going. The more wreckless you play, and/or the more unconventional you try to play, and the faster you try to play, the easier it becomes for you to make a mistake. Playing slow, tactfully, and not biting off more than you can chew is a simple strategy to make the game much easier to get through, as there is less opportunity to make a mistake.
so I've been doing co-op against Artortilla and Kalameet for the past few days, chopping off tails and whatnot for souls
this host just summoned me in front of Artorias' gate wearing black iron armor, with havel's shield and a dragon tooth. then right after that a darkwraith appears in the same spot, runs around a bit, then casts fire tempest and roasts the host as he tries to fatroll away
it was a pitiful sight. all I could do was "look skyward" gesture as the darkwraith did "well, what is it"
It's not a one way trip, you can go back.
How?
You tried to add "Highwind017" didnt you?
..maybe.
[editline]4th January 2013[/editline]
Fire tempest is the greatest spell, I love it. 900+ damage and another 300 afterburn. Nothing survives.
