[t]http://puu.sh/1Jbfj[/t] Anyone know how I get this guy out of there?
Might regret it later. [sp]You can use him as an NPC summon but later on he kills the fire keeper at firelink shrine, making it so that bonfiree doesn't work anymore. Though the fire by andre isn't that much farther at least. You can prevent this if you kill him at firelink shrine right after you ring the bells (I think?).[/sp]
How?
Go back up to where you were dropped off. The imps will take you back.
he asked how to get him out of there not for spoilers
..maybe.
That might be why i havent gotten a friend request, Back in 2007. When i tried to make my gamertag. I somehow screwed up and ended up making my normal name "Highwind017" unaccessable to me. So for the longest time till last year i had to have a extra 0 on it. Now i just roll with "Windy017" after a name change.
he asked how to get him out of there not for spoilers
I planned on killing him thinking I kill him and hoping he drops his armor so I can be all shiny :(
Well I finally got humanity to defeat O&S then somebody invades me about a minute after I turn human and kills me. Now I have to wait forever to get more humanity :(
I really don't understand how to effectively level myself up, that's one of the mysteries of this game for me. I'm not sure what ends up working out well and it's prohibitively expensive to experiment in any way shape or form. from my experience i've just always dumped points into endurance until it's about 30 or 40 and then I just slowly level str and dex up to 20 or 22 each so I have a base damage boost with most weapons
I got the mysterious key, went back to the guy and now the cell is empty. what
I planned on killing him thinking I kill him and hoping he drops his armor so I can be all shiny :(
He escapes anyway. [sp]Let him kill the Firekeeper, you get a Black Eye Orb so you can invade him in Anor Londo, dropping his armor; if you kill him before he only drops the Ring of FaP[/sp]
Alright, my game is acting up now because I have no menu or interaction options showing up, but the sound is playing. Does anyone know a quick fix for making sure the menu shows up when this happens?
Is there a way to extremely lower the chances of you being invaded? These people are teasing me by me getting humanity then getting killed and loosing it and having to repeat the process.
Anyone want to help me with Drake and Josh on a SL1 playthrough? I've been stuck for a week.
there's a timer between invasions that prevents any further invasions for about 10 minutes, so if you're invaded and win or lose, you have that much time to make it to your destination unhindered
He escapes anyway. [sp]Let him kill the Firekeeper, you get a Black Eye Orb so you can invade him in Anor Londo, dropping his armor; if you kill him before he only drops the Ring of FaP[/sp]
Well, he vanished when I got back with the key so yeah. Also, what exactly does offering humanity to a covenant do?
there's a timer between invasions that prevents any further invasions for about 10 minutes, so if you're invaded and win or lose, you have that much time to make it to your destination unhindered
Well the problem is that in those 10 minute I am trying to get humanity so I can summon people and not die from the boss.
Well, he vanished when I got back with the key so yeah. Also, what exactly does offering humanity to a covenant do?
Ranks you up in the covenant. At 10 covenant items, 30, and 80, you rank up. Ranking up in different covenants can get you items, weapons, armor, pyromancies, miracles...
Well the problem is that in those 10 minute I am trying to get humanity so I can summon people and not die from the boss.
Who are you trying to beat? I could give you a hand once you get your humanity.
Who are you trying to beat? I could give you a hand once you get your humanity.
Im trying to beat Ornstein and Smough
Im trying to beat Ornstein and Smough
Oh, well not a lot of help I can be then.
I had a bad encounter with a SunBro and a good encounter with a Forest Ranger yesterday. I'm currently in NG+ and was summoning for O&S. So I get two guys; one wearing what could have been the pyromancer starting gear or something similar. This guy was perfectly fine. The SunBro had full Havel's and the Dragonbone Smasher or whatever it is, and for whatever reason took it upon himself to lead me EVERYWHERE around Anor Londo. Despite the fact that I was wearing full Black Knight. You would think he might've noticed. He was eventually the death of me because he tried to bring me to the Dragonkiller bow. I failed the jump and then had an angry guardian coming at me. Then the pyromancer guy failed the jump and died. THEN the SunBro fell and died. Not long before this, I had been invaded. You can probably tell where this is going. The Forest Ranger was an entirely different story. After some incredibly annoying invasions (including one where all the NPC's and the phantom got me stuck between two trees and wailed on me until my stamina ran out), this guy invades, wearing a Piggu mask. So he bows to me (the first one to do so, mind) and I bow back. Then he just stands there for a minute and runs away. Leaving a bag with twinkling titanite. He proceeds to run about the forest destroying every tree with a dragon king greataxe and does this for about 20 minutes before jumping off the cliff. It was amazing.
Is there any way I can force myself out of Online mode? I've pretty much given up on PvP in this game, so I just want to play without getting "lelscrubhowdoesmyplusfivechaosbanditknifefeel"d all over the place.
Log off of Live. Or you can just not go human.
The staying hollow thing only occured to me after I posted. Sorry.

Found my second vagrant and this time it wasn't in the dang parish, very pleased. :v:
Well the problem is that in those 10 minute I am trying to get humanity so I can summon people and not die from the boss.
If you are apart of way of the white (knights/cleric prealigned - otherwise talk to the miracle selling dude in firelink to join) then you are put last on the list for invasions. Seeing as hardly anyone I know bothers staying with Way of the White by the time you get to Anor Londo (as it has no other benefits other than making sunbro/wayofwhite summons more common), there's probably a much lower chance of being invaded there since you'll have many more people above you who aren't in this covenant being invaded firsts. Also how don't you have humanity to spend? I've probably got about 20 humanity worth of unspent humanity sitting in my inventory just from random drops, bosses, etc. There really is no point in spending humanity/souls till you need them. I.E. using a humanity only once to reverse hollowing so you can do whatever summons you want to do. Don't spend humanity as soon as you get it, as it'll just be sitting up there doing nothing except making your drop rate slightly higher (need 10 for max drop rate), and you'll lose it all when you die. Also you can get humanity (from message rating, rats, helping other people do bosses, etc) without being human. Just grind for humanity while hollow and you are safe.
So how viable is playing this with a keyboard and mouse? Everyone I know seems to imply it's almost impossible.
Someone please help, im lvl 20 and at queelags lair. I need someone to summon... [editline]4th January 2013[/editline]
So how viable is playing this with a keyboard and mouse?
So how viable is playing this with a keyboard and mouse? Everyone I know seems to imply it's almost impossible.
Viable. Just rebind some stuff and get a feel for it. Works fine after that.
