Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition(360,PS3,PC)v3 - Dark Magic is perfectly balanced - Games

How do you deal with people who run away in PvP? Was invaded in anor londo, clearly the guy was a caster so I cast Vow of Scilence. Works out great for me. However the dude just kept back peddling me and I couldn't ever get any attacks in other than basic swings being a knighty/tanky build. By the time my Vow of Scilence expired I was getting roasted. So how do you deal with back peddling players who just always run? Vow of scilence works great at stopping the casting but there's no point if the caster/pyromancer is just going to constantly back peddle me until it wears off.

Live name. Character name is just for flavor, which is why I name most of mine "Girl Vinland", "Pimp Yolocious", "Frank", etc. If it showed character name it'd be impossible to identify hackers. [editline]4th January 2013[/editline] He's countering you by running out the clock, I do it to people who use CMW/SLB/DMB all the time. You can do two things. One, be hyper aggressive. He's in defense mode so start chipping (always carry a shotel). Try to get him into a corner or other compromising position. Two, stay back an emote spam. WELL WHAT IS WELL WHAT IS WELL WHAT IS WELL WHAT IS IT SHRUG POINT DOWNWARD Alternatively, carry a ranged weapon.

I name my dudes after what they are for, like sl 11 invading, or sl 1 run, etc.

It's especially fun to do it to people using PW as they slowly kill themselves.

Well can I get invaded by forest hunters while I am SL70 and already beaten that sif wolf? I play on the xbox and yesterday nobody sadly invaded me. I got the full set with shield and sword of the giant stone knight and I want to be invaded just to kill someone with that set of armor in the woods :v: [img]http://i.imgur.com/nvorp.jpg[/img] What would be the best pvp place for SL70? I don't really want to invade or such, I would rather be in a pvp que or such where is the arena located?

As for the Arena, you need the DLC to access it. If you have the DLC, then you need to have placed the Lordvessel and go back to Anor Londo. Go to the Duke's Archives and when you get past the two armored boars and up the elevator, there will be a crystal golem in that room. Just kill the golem and it'll drop a Broken Pendant. Make sure you kill the Hydra and save Dusk in Darkroot Basin before doing all this though.

Go kill the big boob lady in Anor Londo and then you're in a que for Darkmoons to invade in a similar fashion to the forest.

Got to second bonfire in anor londo It's kind of nice having an area to do PvP and being reasonably safe from loosing a bunch of humanity or souls you got from PvP'ing. All of the people so far that I've fought aren't doing crazy bullshit either (abliet most of them seem to be rocking stuff you get after you already beat andor londo). I feel like where I'm at (SL50) it's probably not too possible to do a crazy ass build anymore without the other guy being able to do a solid counter for it or you to have your own crazy ass build. I do wish that you got humanity if you killed an invader though. Sucks that the invader gets humanity if he wins but you don't if you win. Means I start running out quick if I die a lot unless I go summon at the boss or something. One guy was wearing some weird mask and just doing lightning punches :v: I beat him once but on the 2nd encounter he beat me, just barely. Managed to get a backstab in at the last second.

No, go kill the hydra in the basin, talk to dusk and all that jazz, then religious and go to where dusk's golem is and there's a portal.

Well I accidentally attacked Griggs of Vinheim and as I was running away from him, (I didn't want to kill him) he fell off the cliff in Firelink Shrine. Is there a way to get his spells he sold or am I unable to get the spells?

You can find another sorcerer later, but some sorceries are exclusive to Griggs.

Well, I just fought the first "real" boss in the game after the 4th try I was doing really well, I was down to 2 flasks(forgot what it's called) and he had 33% health. But all of a sudden I dodged one of his attacks and he just fell off the railing. I was hoping for a climax at the end where I kill him with just a sliver of health, but he just fell. Kind of a buzzkill.
