So large club is definately better than zweihander for a strength build right? How should I play with it pve?
Is there an alternative to going through Taurus Demon? I am not having a good time, decided to farm souls for like two hours, leveled up a bunch and got all the chainmail armor from that hidden trader guy with the annoying laugh. Now I lack direction.
Climb ladder, jump down and hit him. It's super effective.
So before i buy this game, can i play this with a ps3 controller and if not are the pc controls REALLY that bad?
I'm using this and it works perfect. Just put it on xbox controller emulator mode and remember which is A,B,Y and X. At first it's a bit confusing, but after a half hour, you won't even notice.
Summoning him throughout the game, and finally at Gwyn is his happy ending. [sp]I like to imagine that after he helped you defeat Gwyn he goes and defeats him in his own timeline, linking the fires and finally becoming grossly incandescent.[/sp]
Except he suffers when he links the fire.
Except he suffers when he links the fire.
Well he suffers if he dies anyway At least this way he fulfills his wish

What is with the framerate in ariamis? First time in the game I've had freeze lags.
Is there an alternative to going through Taurus Demon? I am not having a good time
I did it! Damn that's satisfying.
Climb ladder, jump down and hit him. It's super effective.
Thanks, I actually managed to figure that out before I read it because I was determined to kill those archers and then up there it reminded me of the asylum monster-whatever. But yay Undead Parish!
Well he suffers if he dies anyway At least this way he fulfills his wish
Linking the fires is not the sun nor his wish. Instead the fire consumes him, soul and humanity, as another undead sacrifice and suffers for eternity.
This game deserved GOTY. God damn I haven't seen this much gameplay value since ever. It's so god damn rewarding.
Made a new toon str build found a black knight great sword from my first black knight, got it to a +5 some guy invaded me, he died in 2 hits lol. Also how do you increase chances to summon a friend?
But, why? Why not get this instead? http://darksouls.nexusmods.com/mods/200
BEcause I didn't know that. Thanks.
Summoning him throughout the game, and finally at Gwyn is his happy ending. Confirmed by word of god: http://pastebin.com/B2MYxP5Z Ctrl+f for "Mr. Solaire" if you don't want to read the whole thing.
Killing Solaire is his happy ending. Instead of making a longsword divine(why.jpg), use sunlight blade and buff it. Goes with the SSS quite well.
I just dont understand why everyone loves the sunlight sword when its exactly like the longsword (at least, seems so) except with 5 more damage, even fully upgraded
im seriously confused to what toon means here
Toon aka character. Word usually used in MMOs.
So I have like 3 titanite, should I bother upgrading a longsword? Also, now dying a whole bunch in the Parish. I'm am so fucking hooked.
I just dont understand why everyone loves the sunlight sword when its exactly like the longsword (at least, seems so) except with 5 more damage, even fully upgraded
Durability is higher, good moveset, uses regular titanite, decent scaling, can be buffed and is more lightweight than most other weapons. That and it looks pretty snazzy.
So I have like 3 titanite, should I bother upgrading a longsword? Also, now dying a whole bunch in the Parish. I'm am so fucking hooked.
Upgrading generally is always going to be better than leveling up I only level up when I have an assload of souls I don't know what to do with and don't want to risk it (in which case, Vit+End), or I need to get my stats to a certain level before I can use a certain weapon/armor. [editline]5th January 2013[/editline]
Durability is higher, good moveset, uses regular titanite, decent scaling, can be buffed and is more lightweight than most other weapons. That and it looks pretty snazzy.
But the longsword has the same exact stats/moveset/etc for all of those things, and the durability is only 40 points higher for SSS. But I've never ever ran into an issue where durability actually means anything in this game anyways - most I've had to deal with is spending 200 souls to repair some weapon I used for about 10-20 hours straight, and it wasn't even half way damaged yet.
This is my current build. I want to level a bit further, but I don't know what to do. Str is 16 so I may hold my Chaos +5 Claymore properly and the 20 dex is for the lightning Iaito. My main weapon is the lightning + 5 Great Scythe though.
Oh man, I'm level 18 and I just got invaded by some high level asshole and I somehow managed to kill him using a club that only did 18 damage to him.
Any suggestions on how to get past these two fuckers? [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/559837033837551619/13FB4726A9C1AB92199480BACBBC2209FCD7A797/[/t] I managed to get up to the wall, kick one of them down but then I always get shot down be the other one...
run up there and get him to wield his sword and he usually falls off
That is what I do but once I get to that point I get shot down by the other pleb. There are two of them. The other one is on the left behind the tower.

But sprint up to avoid the arrows. When you get to the ledge go to the right archer, and roll past the arrow he fires at you. Once there the other can't shoot you. The knight should go melee, but if he doesn't just hide around the corner, time his shots, and get real up close inbetween until he does. Then just wait it out, and he'll whack away until he falls off. If you're impatient you can try kicking him off. Then you can choose to take care of the other one or not at all, it doesn't really matter. There's a bonfire around the corner in the way past the right archer.
get rid of all that armor and do it faster
This may sound like a really dumb idea, but pump the rest into endurance so you can get some headgear.
I don't really feel that I need the headgear.
Jesus Christ, why are there so many tough red phantom players around the Parish?
