Man, sometimes I wonder why I wear armor. Full Havel's Set + Ring of Protection for some physical defense well over the 300s. Sure, my vitality isn't insane; but 750 hit points felt like plenty so far. And then Seath the Scaleless one-shots me with his tail.

Some people like to get good gear at low levels, return to the Parish and Burg area, and screw over new guys. Not my cup of tea, but that's the reason.

Was a godsend in Blight Town and Sen's Funhole of Hell.

I'd start putting points into VIT if I were you, though. Also Strength is only a requirement for weapons, not armor.
