how can i find out if i'm in the same ip pool as someone so we can summon eachother this game's net is ass

just keep placing the summon signs down every 30 seconds or so, the servers or "shards" rotate every little while once you do get a successful summon, it'll be super easy to do it again until you guys quit the game

Just place your sign and wait. If the other person doesn't see it within like 10 minutes, place it down again. If you keep getting summoning failed after like 10 minutes of trying, have [I]one[/I] (Not both) of you quit to the main menu and reload your save.

Has anyone else noticed that Duke's Archives has a super tiny lock on range for no reason? absolutely rediculous because I can't target half enemies I should be able to in order to cast my attacks, it's an increased artifical difficulty that makes this place much harder to go through than other areas of the game. I.E. an archer that is literraly standing on a ledge not more than 3feet away from mine, yet I can't lock onto him to target him back. Totally stupid. Its also why sometimes you see signs that just appear and then disappear a few seconds later and then it'll be another minute or two before you see that player again. Of course if your IP pool is super full or something or clogged up it can make any player connections hard to do. "refreshing" your IP pool by quitting to the main menu and coming back again can fix constant failings sometimes.

I had quite a few adventures today so far, got cursed, lost 20k souls after defeating the Gaping Dragon, and now I am upgrading and experimenting with my gear to make Blighttown more comfortable. Blighttown is a most concerning and unnerving place, thankfully gravity does not take sides in it.

I realize I'm late. Being banned kind of has that effect, so [img]http://i.imgur.com/eIg1A.jpg[/img] I enjoy invading people in this attire in undead burg/parish. Especially if it's there first time playing and they don't know what the fuck to do as a man with a giant, yellow, blood-stained, cloth spoon on his head and crystals coming out of his torso runs at them with a giant mace of cold hard iron. No one dare fucks with the holy crystal spoon man.

Cant get invasions to work at all in dukes for some reason, both outgoing (blue eye) and in-going (human) I thought this place was a hotspot for PvP? SL71... might be too high but blue eye at the very least has no minimum level (so anything below 71 should be fair game) and I thought red eye was 10+ 10% of your SL?

Bought the game on sale, and, well.. I spent 3 hours trying to beat that Taurus demon, getting 12k souls and 3 humanity. Only to die by rats and then be immediately disconnected from LIVE due to my web dropping, and losing it all. Prepare to Rage-Uninstall edition would be a more fitting name.

you're still at the start of the game, don't worry about losing a bunch of souls

Think about how you first attacked the Asylum Demon, there's a pretty simple way of killing the Taurus one. unless of course you dropped straight down onto the floor and got smashed into it

Nito is a wimp. He's one of the easiest bosses to kill. Even in the intro Gwyn, Seath and the Witches of Izalith fuck up a bunch of dragons and all he does is blow away a root.

Hey, whats up with the big huge armored dude in the Undead Burg? Yeah, I'm still there, I'm really taking my time. Only been playing an hour or so a night. I'm at the dragon. Anyway, he's just before the spiral tower you go up to face the Taurus demon, you go down some stairs and he's standing facing away at a hallway in black armor. I can't get it to backstab him no matter what and I don't think there's any way I can really kill him. Can I? I wanna see whats over there. I'm level 16.

I'm level 16.[/QUOTE] You can kill him with backstabs and parry/ripostes. He drops a titanite chunk and possibly a black knight sword. The item behing him is the blue tearstone ring, it increases your defence when you're at low health, it's shit.
