I was kind of in a disadvantage since none of the weapons the Weapon Master had where elemental, just cold hard steel. Although i don't know what I'll be doing with my next build. I was thinking 16/16 Str/Dex and just use the Dragon Slayer Bow for knock back and not for killing normally. I was thinking of doing a World Tour of Invadings, now that i have my recordy thingy.

Beat the game for the first time. Took me 43 hours total, which I think is slightly shorter than most people (although I never delved too much into the online/covenant stuff + I missed Kalameet and Manus).

As you get off the elevator make sure to trigger it again so it resets back at the top (so when you die you don't need to wait for it).

Is it common to have summoning fail all the time on PS3?, i've been summoned before and invaded but i can never summon a phantom to help me.

I've only summoned two guys thus far in demon souls but it worked flawlessly both times, see way more phantoms and such too [editline]18th November 2012[/editline] I think a golden tip for the souls games is that it takes a little while and they'll click with you. 103 hours in dark souls and I almost gave up on it in the first few hours until I started thinking and playing how the game wanted me to. Same for demon souls, after 4 hours on a character today was when I started upgrading my weapons and really thinking about everything I did... From had better be working on a third souls game because I enjoy this far too much and I can't compare it to any other games at the moment

Kept telling myself I would buy Dark Souls as soon as I finished Demons Souls. That fell out of my radar a long time ago though. I think it's high time I actually got this game. Is it worth getting the PC version or should I just get it for console?

yes get it for PC, then download DSfix to fix the port issues

You'll have to use a controller for the PC version anyway and with the DLC out on consoles already, there's not a huge advantage. The netcode is apparently better on PS3 but it's really your choice and a matter of where you can get it cheap. I guess Blighttown in 60fps might be worth the PC version.

Or you can just download the mouse fix if you don't have a controller. Works pretty well.
