Eat a dick Artorius Eat a dick. Solo'd the fucker god damn he's obnoxious to fight at times. Am I going to do one flip attack? NOPE THREE HEUHEUHEUHEUHEUHE
HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO DO 1) get a spear(preferably silver knight) 2) 2hand it 3) don't be stupid about dodging, always expect three flip attacks 4) circle to the right and dodge to the right 5) abuse the 2H Rolling attack 6) winner winner ciaran dinner
wikidot's melee strategy to the bed of chaos: - Destroy one of the two glowing roots - Destroy the other glowing root. The two glowing roots are on each side of the boss. To get to those, stay to the outside of the arena and run around. - Destroy the heart. A path to the heart opens after the floor falls away. The root which takes you to the heart is under the floor; when you run up the root, you end up back at floor level at the base of the boss. From there, attack the break-away roots and destroy the heart. thanks wikidot i'll write my own detailed strategy based on yours kinglah's melee-build bed of chaos strategy: - win
Every one of those steps needs "easier said than done" at the end.

Welp beat artorius on the first try, I honestly had more trouble with the stone guys out front. My shield can block all his attacks and as long as I don't mind getting only one or two hits in before going on the defense again then it is cake. I had a summon just for the hell of it so the fight went fast but I probably didn't need him... darkmoon blade ontop of a fully upgraded SKSS made my damage output decent and my sivler knight shield made blocking not so bad as long as I avoided attacks too. I am SL82 tho so I might be slightly overleveled. Close to beating the game but wanted to do DLC area before that.
This is the third time this video gets posted in these threads.
i know, i've posted it three times :v: but who cares it's awesome
so apparently you can't buy the orange soapstone in NG+. rip in peace trying to make people jump off a cliff to their death's.
The undead merchant doesn't sell it anymore?
Unfortunately merchants frequently appear to have finite amounts of certain items, which is a bummer, I always wanted to buy 600 firebombs, shortly after buying about 600 arrows, which was actually done.
idk i was looking at the wiki on where the merchant dude was exactly and apparently he won't sell the orange soapstone in NG+ unless you bought it in NG?? http://darksouls.wikidot.com/orange-guidance-soapstone
idk i was looking at the wiki on where the merchant dude was exactly and apparently he won't sell the orange soapstone in NG+ unless you bought it in NG??
Maybe you already have it? I think all your stuff transfers into NG+.
so apparently you can't buy the orange soapstone in NG+. rip in peace trying to make people jump off a cliff to their death's.
You don't lose it though. You can't buy another bottomless box in NG+ either.
you can just kill him and he drops it
Wait, what? You can zoom?
On xbox controller its the d-pad up and down while aiming with bow
Maybe you already have it? I think all your stuff transfers into NG+.
I just recently found out (like a week ago) that you have to buy it from some dude. I thought all the time before I found that out that you had to find it from an NPC drop or something or find it like the red soapstone in painted world.
you can just kill him (Undead Merchant) and he drops it
Also this.
Just got this game for PS3, fuck I cannot figure anything out, are any classes at a disadvantage or do they all have the bonuses?
Just got this game for PS3, fuck I cannot figure anything out, are any classes at a disadvantage or do they all have the bonuses?
they aren't actually classes, the only differences between them are what stats and gear you have at the start you can end up playing with any play-style you want
they aren't actually classes, the only differences between them are what stats and gear you have at the start you can end up playing with any play-style you want
After about 6 hours of picking different classes I got stuck at this big lunar moth boss, I also skipped some things like some big knight dude and some weird statue thing that shoots lightning at me. I suck at this game, yet its so fun.
weird statue thing that shoots lightning at me.
what is there something I'm missing here (also the butterfly is not a required boss; it's a dead end there)
After about 6 hours of picking different classes I got stuck at this big lunar moth boss, I also skipped some things like some big knight dude and some weird statue thing that shoots lightning at me.
what is there something I'm missing here (also the butterfly is not a required boss; it's a dead end there)
Titanite demon? It's... kinda like a statue?
what is there something I'm missing here (also the butterfly is not a required boss; it's a dead end there)
he's talking about the titanite demon around Andre, obviously.
moonlight butterfly is pretty easy, either get good at dodging her attacks or get a shield with good magic resistance (the stone greatshield that the golems drop is pretty good for it if you can use it)
Protip, if you summon Witch Beatrice for the fight she will basically do everything for you and all you have to do is survive which should be fairly easy. Her summon sign is somewhat hidden in some bushes under the stairs.
what is there something I'm missing here (also the butterfly is not a required boss; it's a dead end there)
Maybe its more of a lizard, but I remember its leg being broken off as if it were made of stone. Also, I must be lost then because I dont know where else to go other than there.
you have to go back the way you came through the parish and look for a new way to go, that's all I'll say
Maybe its more of a lizard, but I remember its leg being broken off as if it were made of stone. Also, I must be lost then because I dont know where else to go other than there.
Oh my yes, very lost indeed, not that it's a bad thing, exploring is good.
oh I suppose the titanite demon looks like a statue that moves anyways, yes, you are in the right place at the wrong time; the forest will be something you journey to later.
oh I suppose the titanite demon looks like a statue that moves anyways, yes, you are in the right place at the wrong time; the forest will be something you journey to later.
Eh, even then you only have to go there real quick, most of it is optional, atleast if you use the Crest.
