is that low [editline]13th January 2013[/editline] and is that my chance of being seen?
The range for Co-op is 10 Levels + 10% in either direction. So if you're SL1, you can summon up to a level 12 If you're SL10, you can summon up to a level 22, and so on. [sp]SL = Soul Level[/sp]
Huh, I killed that same invader twice, once while I was summoned by someone else, and also was partnered with them twice. Didn't even know NPCs could invade. I had heard you can find NPC Summon symbols but not that they could invade. I also killed Knight Kirk twice as a summon for two different people each time. How do you tell when they're an NPC??
maneater mildred automatically invades you if you're human near the blighttown bonfire when you defeat her, you can summon her to help with quelaag a few other npcs do this too idk which
maneater mildred automatically invades you if you're human near the blighttown bonfire when you defeat her, you can summon her to help with quelaag a few other npcs do this too idk which
Witch Beatrice can be summoned for the Moonlight Butterfly fight, which is highly recommended, and also for required for you to summon her for 4 Kings, which isn't recommended. (You also need to summon her for the MB for her gear to be available in the Valley of Drakes after you defeat the 4 kings) After you defeat Knight Kirk in the Depths, in Demon Ruins, and in Lost Izalith, his gear appears on the suspicious wall at the back of the Daughter Of Chaos bonfire room. You need to free and talk to Lautrec at firelink in order to summon him for Gargoyles and Gaping, but he is not available for Quelaag, and if you kill Quelaag with Lautrec still alive, he will kill Anastacia, which will allow you to get 2 sets of armor; Anastacia's and Lautrec's. Solaire can be summoned for Gargoyles, Gaping, OnS, Centipede Demon, and Gwyn(but only if [sp]you kill the sunlight maggot before entering lost izalith via the chaos servant +2 shortcut, please save him[/sp])
I kicked Lautrec off a cliff for his ring.

Accidentally hit Siegmeyer, had to put him down. Welp, there goes an otherwise perfectly good run. On another note, is there any way to quickly return to the Abyss? I need to speak to Kaathe again, but I'm not sure if I'm supposed to use the New Londo path or if there is a new shortcut? edit: nevermind I can just warp there, wasn't showing up for some reason but now it is
If I set a while soapstone near where the gargoyle boss fog used to be, can people summon me to help them with it?
Yeah but put them on the steps between the church exit and the pathway that leads to the blacksmith (it's where most signs for the gargoyles are put, so it'll be more likely to be seen there)
Goddamn people suck at finding me in the forest Also sucks to go into the forest as human only wanting to play for a few minutes but being always locked in because somebody is always either connected to your game or wanting to connect :(
(You also need to summon her for the MB for her gear to be available in the Valley of Drakes after you defeat the 4 kings)
You can get her gear after fighting 4 kings, regardless of whether or not you summoned her.
Tomb of the giants is kicking my ass. This is the first part of the game (Apart from maybe descending into Blighttown) that I thought was kind of bullshit. Is there a bonfire near the Pinwheel room?

Where's the bonfire in the Forest? I'm getting my shit kicked in by these ghosty guys
Where's the bonfire in the Forest? I'm getting my shit kicked in by these ghosty guys
Better: run to the stone structure on the far end and talk to the cat.
Where's the bonfire in the Forest? I'm getting my shit kicked in by these ghosty guys
There's no bonfire in the forest. The bonfire before the forest is to the left of the pile of rubble by the door, behind an illusionary wall. [editline]14th January 2013[/editline] Oh god. I killed someone who was using CHS/white dragon breath only using a bow. He tried to use a humanity at the end and I shot him before he popped it off. :v:
so apparently not taking Master Key as my gift was a shitty idea, because now i can't get into Havels tower from the top or bottom, help
I'm late but you don't need the master key to get to Havel. Kill the Moonlight Butterfly and head to the top of that tower. You'll pick up the Divine Ember, as well as the Watchtower Basement key from there. That key will get you to Havel.
Me and a friend once tried to fight the gargoyle demon together. We stood up outside the fog gate for minutes trying to figure out how to spawn each other due to the system being weird. I climbed down the ladder and above me I saw a red figure appear. It was a fucking invader with Armor of Artorias and the Gravelord Sword. I swear to god he must have been at least 50 levels higher than me. And the asshole still thinks it's funny to try and kill a low level. Afterwards he sent me a message on GFWL saying "U mad bro?" I shit you not.
fell down while fighting skeletons in the catacombs and found vamos :v: Thought I was about to have the shit kicked out of me

What level were you?

lol u so mad
What are the disadvantages to making a weapon into a fire weapon?
What are the disadvantages to making a weapon into a fire weapon?
No scaling.
scaling?
scaling?
have you never read the descriptions of weapons? they scale based on your stats (STR, DEX, INT, FAI), some better and some worse elemental weapons lose scaling, as do raw weapons
so me and my friend ended up burning our way through Blighttown and the boss there, now were at sens and oh my god i hate my life
so hard summon tarkus go afk and have a wank ~pro skills~
I hated Undead Burg because of firebombs I was so happy when i was told that firebombs are a worry of the past after that NO ONE TOLD ME THERE WOULD BE GIANT FIREBOMBS THAT LOCK ONTO YOUR LOCATION GAHHH
I hated Undead Burg because of firebombs I was so happy when i was told that firebombs are a worry of the past after that NO ONE TOLD ME THERE WOULD BE GIANT FIREBOMBS THAT LOCK ONTO YOUR LOCATION GAHHH
They don't actually. Look for the black spots on the ground, that's the exact spots where the bombs hit. Also you can get a light equip load, wait until the fires douse on one spot then rush straight for the top and kill the bomb giant. If you do it properly the ammount of time it takes him to aim wont allow him to hit you and he wont respawn.
Rate my character's messed up-ness. [T]http://i.imgur.com/7fxPV.jpg[/t] [T]http://i.imgur.com/8sC6w.jpg[/t] The bow is +3 lightning and the all the armor is +5 apart from the sack which is +6. Shield is +8 and the flame's +8. Moving on to uhm, Lost Izalith/Nito/Ruins at this point
