Because you're getting shot by weird log dudes with blowguns. Listen for the "phoot" sound and watch for white darts coming towards you.
go buy moss

What Joe said. Just be really careful. The good thing is after you kill them they don't come back. They mostly stop being a problem after you get rid of the first one. At least, they did for me.

Do you have the spider shield? Hold that up as much as you can. It completely block poison/toxic.
Damn, Cutting off Kalameet's tail is seriously harder than anything else in this game. I've been going at it for 3 straight hours and I still haven't been able to do it.
It'd be easier to fight 5 uber Ornsteins at once than this shit.
how to properly invade in anor londo:
-be a dick and close all the fucking one-way doors on them

Actually, once opened, the one-way doors can be opened from the 'locked' side. I tried separating a phantom from his host by closing the shortcut door near the bonfire, but he opened it right up again.

get two summons and it's much easier, and even then it'll still take at least 10 minutes to cut off

lame
lame
I know. Now, if it were possible to close the Anor Londo 'front door,' oh boy would those be good times for Dickwraiths.
true thin privilege is being able to mimick npcs for invaders
my fat black man isn't a very convincing silver knight
I'm able to play the game with Keyboard+Mouse better then a 360 controller for some reason, just took alot of re-binding and the mouse fix.
I have a few questions:
-Is this game worth the $40?
-How badly would I need an xbox controller if I did get it on PC?
-Where would I get one of these controllers for a reasonable price?
afterglow controller is 30 on amazon works with windows no adaptor needed. prolly cheapest you'll get and still have a fully featured good quality controller
I don't play with the mouse fix, I'm too used to making tiny mouse movements in this game now
I don't play with the mouse fix, I'm too used to making tiny mouse movements in this game now
I fucking love it, I was pretty used to the reverse-acceleration without the fix, but making large camera movements was pretty much impossible. Not to mention the ~absolutely retarded~ mouse targeting whenever I locked on to something.
God, hosting in the Township is annoying. 24/7 fog wall so I can't use the bonfire to get my spells refilled. :v: I'm not even using the dried finger or anything.
I asked this before but when I finally get around to killing Gwyndolin will I stop spawning at the first dead bonfire every time I die in Anor Londo?
Because I am seriously tempted to just NG+ so I can PvP there with convenience.

If you don't want to spend souls on buying moss, just make quick runs killing the ents outside of the Darkroot Garden. They won't pose a real threat since you can deal with most of them individually. If you want to make things a lot easier, equip the Spider Shield and poison resistance ring you can get from the priest guy in the bell tower.

i think the moss from the treemen is the kind that cures poison.
the blowdart gunners in blight town have a toxic effect that's much more violent and needs a special moss clump (which the gunners themselvs also drop iirc and its sold by the female undead merchant)

The ents drop both, though the blooming clumps are obviously a bit rarer drop. Still beats spending a thousand souls apiece from the female undead merchant.
Not to mention the Ents drop them super often as well.
Fuck, the bat things followed me into the giant blacksmiths room and I accidentally attacked him, and ended up killing him, just when I had enough chunks and slabs to get my halberd to +5 lighting from +3.
I think it's time to move on to a new weapon, what do I get now?
6 hours late, but if the halberd is already at +3 you can +5 it yourself if you have the weapon smith box Andre sells.
Man, I'm loving the moonlight greatsword. First time I've actually used it for more than five seconds.
I don't like any spell so far though, not even dark bead.

Nope. The obvious solution is to just not kill the firekeeper. If you "kill" Gwynevere then warp from the bonfire outside her room to the Anor Londo bonfire/Darkmoon tomb you can avoid the fight, and if you die you'll just spawn at the Anor Londo bonfire and be able to warp down to the Darkmoon Tomb again. Alternatively, use the Darkmoon Seance ring and you can kill Gwyndolin without making Anor Londo dark, though it will piss off the firekeeper still. Either way, never walk up to her on the bridge and you'll never have to put that bonfire out.

How do you not like Dark Bead, it's a shotgun that can deal enough damage to oneshot pretty much any invader at close range with an incredibly fast cast time.

Hah, it's way worse when you get invaded by a jerk who runs away to the elevator when he has low hp. Or a guy with 2k hp and dark silver tracer with hornet or just simple dark magic glass cannon builds. SO FUN TO BATTLE THOSE!
I just died with 35k souls and now I can't find my bloodstain and get them back.
Do they spawn exactly where you died, or can they spawn somewhere close? I'm at Blight Town.

It spawns a bit in front of where you died.
That feel when you kill Quellag, go rest at the Daughter of Chaos bonfire, then get back to and rest at firelink only to remember you forgot to ring the bell.

It's a bit wonky at times. It usually depends on how you died.
If you died from falling off something, it usually spawns where you fell off, not where you died and if you died from an enemy or by the environment, it should, as rider said, spawn a bit before where you died.

Somewhere close, usually it's where the last autosave was I think. Given that DS autosaves every few seconds/every time you do anything that usually translates to a bit before the spot you died.
