Oh man I feel so fucking bad. I finally get summoned for the first time and it happens to be when I'm not paying attention and was AFK (got bored of waiting around, so i started browsing the web). By the time I realized I was summoned, the host already got himself killed from an invasion. I felt so fucking horrible lol.

Getting so sick of being invaded while im trying to co-op with a friend. I wouldn't mind if they were the same level and didnt lag to hell but when you get a guy come in with full black night armor while you've got basic armor and a drake sword and then back stabs both of you while your facing him that just makes me want to rq harder than anything else. WTB ping filter

why is balder side sword considered so good? is it becuase of the dex scaling?

Rather than leaving you open like other strong attacks, it's fast enough that you can even chain multiple strikes in. And with the strong attack doing a higher percentage of the damage stat than a fast attack, it is in practice significantly better.

Again, fucker lags around behind me and backstabs me twice meanwhile my attacks just do nothing even though the guys in the middle of throwing a fire bomb at me. Fuck this

I have had decent fights with people before and won a few aswell, I dont mind losing to someone that actually has to hit me on my screen as well to do damage.

PvP is terrible for new players, since you run into more people doing low SL runs than you do other new people.

If PvP is consistently laggy for you it might not be the other guy's fault by the way.

Would SL 76 be consistent for PvP? I'm not sure if I should level up a bit, or just stay where I am now.

What are the differences between catalysts? I really have no idea which one I should be using. So far I've just stuck to the standard one.

Tin Crystallization Catalyst halves cast number while having pretty high mag adjust for example. The main thing that makes one catalyst better is your intelligence skill. Oolacile Ivory Catalyst is best until your int is around 27 or so, at that point I think the Sorcerer's Catalyst is best, and eventually one with a name I can't think of is best(probably Logan's). There's a chart on the wiki somewhere I'll try to find.

When the people have gear similar to yours it's just a test of individual skill.

motherfucking invaders i was in co-op with a friend (we're both SL25) and the first fucker spawns in with his flaming warpick and slaughters us both before we can even attack the second time was better because i managed to parry his first attack but the game must of lagged out because it didnt let me get the reposte and then we were slaughtered again yay dark souls

I am getting my ass whooped in Anor Londo. I can't even make it to Biggy and Smalls because the silver knights, titanite demon, and those bigass knights are destroying me. Any suggestions? I'm using a +5 Quelaag, pyromancy, and a crest shield.
