The Ring of Steel Protection is pretty useful. Smough's charge attack can really fuck you over. Speaking of which, is there any official pronunciation for "Smough"? There's like five different ways to pronounce "-ough".

Hahah, oh wow. So I had my game minimized and was doing other things while I was in the Darkroot basin just before the Hydra. I decided to backtrack and see if there was another way, or go back to the undead asylum to get that ring so I can run in swamp water. So I come back, all is normal, I run back to that one sealed door and still no way to open it. See some messages by a wall, hit it, it's illusory, its a bonfire. I walk through the doorway and suddenly just see some read behind me. It hides behind a stack of bricks, so I come out and this guy just suddenly starts running around in circles for maybe five minutes. Finally I bash him with my shield and he starts fighting me. In the end I killed him, he had to heal twice, I healed once. I'm pretty sure that was my first PvP victory against an actual person, woo!

That looks nice, but not as good as my build.

An occult Great Scythe at 50 faith wrecks shit. The dead angles do like 300-400 damage.

Man I just need to get one more Sunlight medal but nobody is summoning me, I want that greatspear.

You might have to place the Lordvessel though, not sure.

I just did my first playtrough. It took me about 54 hours and i just have to say it was amazing. Did not play a game that good and atmospheric in years. One of the best parts was finding the [sp]Ash Lake[/sp] totally random. Now it is time for NG+ and gotta try out some PvP. Man this game will give me lots of hours of fun.

I am doing a coop playthrough with a pal, he got it already. For some reason he got one medal more than me, even if we did the exact same thing.
