well I punted Lautrec off the cliff before he could kill her so I can't do that anything else before sen's fortress?
I used chain + havel It's ugly as hell but poise makes a world of difference
I uhh.. I killed a hacker.. Indicted, but so many souls. What do with this many souls?
I used chain + havel It's ugly as hell but poise makes a world of difference
If you're doing an SL1 playthrough, your armour won't matter because you aren't meant to be hit. Just go whatever looks nice. Even for normal games, why would you wear something that ugly? A few extra points between these two, was it worth it?
Oh and then I get messaged: "Come again."

Especially the mask of the mother. It looks like it has a mustache...
I found an invulnerable guy in Sens. After backstabbing him like 5 times and dodging 10+ crystal soul spears I just hopped off the edge. Fuck that guy.
Should have kicked him off an edge instead.

I found the Leather set good for a SL1 run, which I wore until I got Anastacia's set. Since you locked yourself out of it, though, the Maiden set which you can get from the Duke's Archives is the next best thing if you can get your hands on it. Whatever you can wear that'll still allow you to fast-roll works, really.
Okay, so decision #1: -Demon's Souls or -Dark Souls Decision #2: -NG+ or -New character hnnnnggggg
Wow. This is the first time I actually cannot get past the fucking AL archers. I simply cannot kill the silver knight fast enough before he anally obliterates me. If I back up too much then I've got the AL archer hitting me from behind. Quite frustrating. Of course, I forgot I had Iron Flesh. Took care of that obstacle.

Also, walked up to a chest, accidentally threw a lloyd talisman. Turns out to be a mimic chest anyway. I loot a gold coin and symbol of avarice off of it. Fuck.Yes.

Damn, just beat Manus and it seems the only thing left is to kill Gwyndolin before taking down Gwyn. I reckon I'm set for NG+ but it means no co-op until I get to Anal Rodeo. I learned Manus' moveset by walking around the arena until I found Sif's sign, then we beat him comfortably. Definitely a good fight, like all the DLC bosses.
Mimic chests are easy to identify. Just look at the chain.
There's a mimic chest in Oolacile where the chain clips through the floor. Other than that one, it's easy. The chain curves backwards on normals, forwards on mimics.
also mimics move sometimes
I'm loving Dark Souls alot, so much i'm thinking about buying the PC version when i build my new computer. Is it really full of malicious hackers?, i've heard there's people that go into your game as a white phantom and make Anor Londo dark.

I have 375 hours of it on PC and I've only ran into like, 10 blatant hackers. All they've had is infinite health, and this one guy who forced himself into my world as a white phantom and killed invading forestbros for me. :v:

It's nowhere near that bad and the few times you do get hackers, they're either dumbshits who mod their stats or keep their HP at max. I've heard of people getting curse onto their weapons and I have even invaded as a white phantom myself, but the worst that happens is it makes PvP unfair.
I've been really unlucky with hackers when I tried pvp. It's usually 7 out of 10 are hackers for me.
what weapons are best for SL1 playthroughs? and it doesn't really matter what armor I wear, as long as I maintain the fast roll, correct?

I need an explanation for the dragon too.
Indeed, I'm rarely impressed by multiplayer cheaters but honestly that's pretty interesting. I wonder how he managed it.
I need an explanation for the dragon too.
Well, there's this one guy I know of who can do things like spawn black phantom NPCs in other people's worlds (There's a screenshot somewhere of a black phantom Smough), I assume that's him? Or somebody else who found out how to do things like that. Either way, I hope no one else ever discovers how to do that.
thats a screenshot from dgrayeds stream he does stuff like that all the time
Either I was too used to how the game played from playing so much dark souls, but demon's souls is now ridiculously easy for me. In 2 hours yesterday I took out 9 bosses, including 4 of the archdemon's, without dying once. I'm now in 1-4/1-5 or something (just killed penetrator) and I'm going to continue tonight after work :v: 7 of those fights were for the first time
Just picked this game up.. Any tips for a newcomer? Being a cleric I barely survived the asylum with a single heal miracle..
