4 Kings isn't that hard to dodge at all, though.

You don't even have to dodge them, you can just eat their attacks like hot pancakes.
Seriously, I only had to use 2 Estus.
if you are up next to them they just bonk your head with the handle of their sword for basically no damage

In all honesty... this game isn't as hard as I thought it would be.
The bosses that everyone seems to complain about (Bed, 4 Kings, O&S) weren't like I thought they would be. I died a couple times on Bed but it was because I was being stupid. 4 Kings was studidly easy. But o&s are pretty damn hard without a phantom.
What do you guys consider to be the hardest fight?

I need a titanite slab to get my uchi to +15. Should I go to the great hollow and farm the lizards?
kalameet was definitely the hardest boss for me

I haven't gone to the Hollow yet. But, I lost the slab from the Stray Demon, I can't finish Onionbro quest, and I can't get my item discovery high enough to get it from the Darkwraiths.

if you really want that titanite slab go defeat kalameet in the artorias of the abyss location

I don't have the DLC :T I pretty much can't get a slab anymore because I'm a dumbass
what's so hard about getting your item discovery up to max
ng+ then
you dont NEED a +15 weapon for the first playthrough
what's so hard about getting your item discovery up to max
humanity is tiring to farm without living humanity from the abyss
what's so hard about getting your item discovery up to max
All I have to do is wear the Gold Serpent ring and have 10 humanity, right?
If so, I'll do that.

you're missing the best bossfight in the game rip
Speaking of which, couple questiosn about that DLC: What is Dusk? is it a person? And where's Dook's? I kinda wanna make sure I dont miss something and fuck up and not be able to do it.

Artorias, right?
It just so happens I have $20 in pennies on my dresser that I'm gonna give to my bank so I can buy the DLC

Dusk is a lady of Oolacile. You find her in Darkroot Basin, behind the area with the hydra, hidden in a golden golem. Once you talk to her, find a pendant in Dukes, you can enter the DLC.

Wait, is that was the Pendant gift from the beginning does? Also, which Hydra? I believe there are two, and there didn't seem to be paths or anything around the one I killed.
you'll see when you find it

Nope, not the starting gift. There are golems in Dukes Archives that drop it.

4 kings is only hard when you try to do them first or at a lower level
Super easy when you are leveled up enough to just kill them one at a time before the others can spawn.

Hardest boss for me was bed of chaos (due to stupid long walk back to bossdoor and the fact that it pretty much requires you to have lots of luck and make a single perfect roll) and probably kalaamet
Kalaamet was probably the only boss past early game (after you know, learning how to play the game by dieing many times from the first 2 bosses) that I actually died many times on from the fight itself. Tried getting a summon but couldn't find any, but after dieing 10 times I managed to get him dead. Never did get his tail cut off.
Though I never did end up killing the stray demon. Only time I tried to fight him was when I was level 40 or so, and he was very fucking hard at that level for me, so I just didn't bother. He's probably way easy late game.
Stray demon is way easy as long as you don't lock on and remember that the forward-slash AOE doesn't hit behind him.
i should be getting my replacement dark souls on tuesday for the bawks so i can coop with you peeps or something
that'd be neat

I'd consider Ornstein and Smaugh to be the hardest fight. And all the DLC bosses are pretty challenging. But yeah, dark souls isn't as difficult as everyone makes it out to be. Back in the days of NES we had games that would just brutalize you.
I really need to get Darkmoon Blade.
I have 3 Souvs, where should I go to get the other 7?
Kill Gwyndolin and get Sunlight Blade.
Kill Gwyndolin and get Sunlight Blade.
Nah man, I like Darkmoon.
I really need to get Darkmoon Blade.

Only two things in the game get you souviniers - a successful darkmoon invasion where the host dies, and as a rare drop from the harpies in the Painted World (you'd want max item find for this)
Best places to invade as darkmoon in my experience have been Painted World (the fact that the boss is optional keeps this area open for invasions for many people), Catacombs, Dukes Archives, Forest, and Anor Londo - in rough order of how successful I've been. I've had a few here or there elsewhere but I seem to have the most success in the above. Kiln and Oolacile Township is probably a really good spot too, but you need to be a high SL to get close to the level of that area for successful invasion (SL100+).
Painted world is likely going to get you the "hardest" players since you'll run into people who just want to PvP there while catacombs is probably the earliest level area you'll be able to invade people reliably (since you need to have sin or been indicted, and not beaten the area boss to get invaded, and catacombs I guess tends to produce more players that qualify for this).
