Okay, so after a few rounds of jolly co-operation I can say that its great fun, but most of the people who summon you aren't in it for the jolly co-operation but are just there to stand to the side and watch you solo the boss. :v:
I summoned a guy for Seath and he didn't even enter the fog.

I don't understand why people say this. Artorias is an easy and routine boss, I wouldn't really say there's anything special about it. I much prefer O&S.
I really liked the Sif battle, but it could be because I was fighting a huge wolf that had a greatsword and knew how to use it.

Easy=/= bad.
He's not routine, he has awesome and badass attacks that are unlike most bosses (aside from the standard slash). The character is really what makes it, a fallen warrior versus one that rose from the Asylum, mano e mano.
i dont think ive ever got my ass handed to me so hard in anything untill fighting the capra demon
i die in 3 slashes its pretty much just run left get hit and then stunlocked
Man, so many people using the drake sword. Been summoned around 8 times, and around 7 of those were people with drakes. On the other hand, there is nothing more satisfying than being summoned by a complete newbie being invaded by someone in end-game gear and then completely devastating the twink in low-level equipment.
edit:
8 Sunlight Medals, just need 2 more! At this point I can just wait until Anor Londo for the 3x chest but I'll probably just get summoned twice.
Second playthrough and I've already gotten the Lordvessel within 4 hours.

Blue tearstone ring, havel's ring.
Blue tearstone ring, havel's ring.
I like getting the ring of fap as early as possible.
If you don't want to summon Lautrec at all, kill him when you release him and you get a bitchin ring

You can get Havel's Ring which increases equipment carry weight. You can get the Blue Tearstone ring which increases your defence when below 20% HP, however if you are below 20% HP Capra can probably on hit you even with the ring.
Just make sure your armour is upgraded and that you run around him and up the stairs. Once you get the gist of the fight it's pretty easy. Also kill his dogs first.

If you kill Lautrec you lose out on getting his armour and the Firelink Shrine firekeeper's robes.

Fair point, it's mostly preference

I always kill Lautrec, I just wanted to make sure DarkZero saw incase he decided he'd want it.

But he'd be missing out on invading Lautrec later on, which I think you should do in your first playthrough.
can't you guys be more subtle with people who are on their first playthroughs instead of spoiling things that happen
After 5+ hours of jolly co-operation, finally unlocked the Great Lightning Spear, totally worth all of that time :v:

Thats actually tips I believe.
Any tips on killing the bell gargoyles? (At the first bell) I'm struggling.
upgrade your weapon to +5 with titty shards
if that doesn't help then summon some bros to help
Any tips on killing the bell gargoyles? (At the first bell) I'm struggling.
Summon some Sunbros. Cut off the tail.

summon both solaire and lautrec if you can
if you picked up the mystery key earlier you can rescue lautrec from the room in the parish across from the ladder to the gargoyles
