just get solaire he basically kills the first gargoyle for you
does anybody know where to get that PLS RESPOND reskin for summon signs that I see in videos sometimes?
Just had my first 1 vs 2 victory at the expense of wiping out all my Forest Covenant buddies in the process. While I was chasing those fuckers, I accidentally clipped the sorcerer at the entrance and they aggroed every single stupid monster and had all of the Forest NPCs on my ass. Felt so good when I finally killed them both.

Stay close and Keep circling around them while attacking.
And that's SL1 NG3+ done.

I remember seeing videos for RE5 mercenary mode where these players use this trick to reload during the melee attack animations in order to use all the time they can get in this mode.
(Menu -> Ammo -> Weapon)
After playing 100 hours with 30 fps, I decided to unlock my fps to 60. After changing the FPS Unlock to 1, my game won't even start. Anyone knows a fix for this?
Try verifying game cache. If I have a problem, 90% of the time that fixes it. The other 10% it fixes itself in an hour or so.
I bought BF3 instead of Demon's Souls. I feel bad.
TO BE FAIR; The PS3 that is currently in my house is not actually mine, it's my cousin's. So when I move out, I would lose access to Demon's Souls until I got a PS3 for myself.

Very nice! I'm still on NG and Artorias is kicking my ass. Otherwise my SL1 run is going great.
This has almost certainly been brought up before, but wouldn't it be so badass if there was an arena where you could fight all of the bosses you've killed?
I wanna fight Artorias again.

yep i used to be really good at this. every animation was a chance to reload. i imagine it'd be way harder in Dark Souls because the menu system is significantly more complex than RE5's 3x3 grid.

There's been a lot of suggestions to a "gauntlet" or "superboss" Where you fight all of the bosses you've fought before in succession without estus, or you fight all 4 knights of gwyn at the same time, etc.
SLB should do more damage. It's a lot more thug to have lightning on your weapon than some filthy houdini bullshit.
SLB I feel is technically better, simply because lightning resist is hard to get in good enough quantities to resist it, meanwhile DMB is really really easy to resist since it just does standard magic damage, which is common to find resistances against.
I.E. having a great magic barrier up completely negates the darkmoon blade pretty much.
Meanwhile there's nothing you can really effectively to do block/stop a sunlight blade's damage.

I don't want to fight Gough, though :(
but ornstein and artorias alone would fuck you up
were gwyn's four knights really supposed to be ornstein, artorias, astora and gough
Ornstein, Artorias, Ciaran, and Gough.
oh that random lady who everyone just kills for the tracers

the disappointing one

theyre really weak to fire so get heaps of fire bombs
Ok, first run through of the game. I was about to kill the taurus demon when all of sudden he decides
WINNIE THE POOH MODE ACTIVATED
and then i'm instantly batted off the ground and fall to my doom.
just keep climbing onto the top of the tower and doing drop attacks, run to the other end so he follows you, dodge his attacks and run back to the top of the tower and repeat

That's what I was doing until he went for the home run. Goddamn bottom of the ninth.
well keep in mind that he is one of the easier bosses in the game :v:
There's no need to do drop attacks after the initial drop, just make use of gold pine resin before the first drop and then keep hitting him whenever he gives you an opening(he gives you plenty), and he goes down like nothing.

Honestly I died more legitimately to him than most of the other bosses
He's hard because at the level you fight him you are poorly equipped to deal with him, you are new and therefore not as good at knowing the general nuances with movement/dodging, etc. Plus he's one of two or three bosses that take place on a very narrow arena, which makes these boss fights much harder than if they were fought in an open arena (its the only real reason why capra demon is "hard" pretty much, and the dogs).
The best way to beat him at low level is getting on the tower but you have to time climbing it just right (after a swing), otherwise hey will hit you and kill you in a couple of hits. And you also can't stay up there too long otherwise he gets up there, and if you jump attack him when he's too close to the edge of the wall you'll fall right off the wall into the pit when you come down from the attack.
No other boss really requires such a strategy to beat effectively, once you get a good shield or good DPS you can just avoid attacks, absorb blows and have enough stamina to get damage in for almost every single boss here on out, almost to the point of them being gear/level checks. Not to mention most bosses are in large areas where it gives you plenty of time and space to watch out for attacks, dodge, etc. But this isn't too possible if you are level 1-5 or so and new at the nuances with game, and fighting on a tiny narrow walkway.
Am I the only one that has never died to the Taurus Demon?
[editline]27th January 2013[/editline]
Seriously, as long as you are patient and don't zerg him he's no big deal.
I died to him because I kept trying to do plunging attacks and getting smashed on the ladder. Once I found out how easy we was to dodge (walk backwards) I beat him without taking a hit.
Infact the last time I fought him was the most exciting. I was playing infront of my little cousin Brian. Little dude loves him some knights, so I played up the battle. I was rolling around, letting Taurus hit my shield to send me flying. The fight looked amazing, even though I was just messing with the demon.
Worst thing about SL1 Peanut and butter solo is how possible you know it is. Only had 3 tries so far but each time Ornstein bites the dust super smough murders me. The fight is so fucking awesome.
