Why can you exit that first Seath boss fight area? I got killed outside of it and spawned in the bonfire at the start of Duke's. Seems weird that they'd let you just leave the place like that.

I think it's funny to walk in, get a good look, and then just walk out on him, music abruptly stopping and all it also gives you a chance to get out of there if you realize at the last second you don't have your ring of sacrifice ready

so ive gone do the catacombs, killed (i think) all the necromancers and got the skull lantern and the darkmoon ring thing and got my ass shredded by a pack of skeletons on wheels....there anything else i missed?

Goddammit. I can't beat the Taurus Demon. I tried plunging attacks, firebombs, even both at once. Still can't beat him though. I don't even care about beating him "properly" at this point. Is there a cheap way to do it?

make sure you have at least 1 humanity in the counter in the top-left corner, then go to a bonfire and pick "reverse hollowing". then you'll be able to see summon signs

I should note that I also currently have a Drake Sword.[/QUOTE] lose the drake sword ASAP. the furysword is a very good weapon but it's inhibited by the mediocre/bad curved sword moveset. it's an awesome PvE weapon since it deals fire damage, though, and almost all enemies except demons are vulnerable to fire.

It might not be the best for PvE though, since you'd need to have 10 humanity at all times for it to do good damage.

I really like the armor and shield of the giants that guard Ornstein and Smough, is there a way to obtain their shield? I own the armor so far.

So my brother fucked up with my disc so it says "disk read failed" every time I load my character. Will installing the game on my xbox fix the problem?
