Is armor upgrading something people do? i don't think i ever bothered in my first run, i just spent the souls on my weapons instead do people do it for NG+ and pvp or whatnot?

Download cheat engine from here- [url]http://www.cheatengine.org/download.php[/url] 2. Download the newest table- [url]http://forum.cheatengine.org/download.php?id=99953[/url] 3. Open Dark Souls, then open Cheat Engine and attach it to DATA.EXE, open the above table. 4. When you load up a file, you should see your character in cheat engine. 5. Right click on an entry and then do "change value" to modify things. 6. Give yourself souls (directly modifying stats doesn't work too well) to level up, and you can modify what you have in your slots (armor, ring, held) by finding a table of values (like this one [url]http://www.mediafire.com/view/?hv7o1hwcprho6sh[/url]) and changing value to them. 7. If you want to upgrade weapons/armor, take the item value (let's use claymore for example- 301000), then the last 3 0s determine its stats. Last 2 are the + (putting 15 would give you +15) and the first one is the type of upgrade. [code]element/enhancement values in decimal format (thanks to ce forums) 0 - normal/special 1 - crystal 2 - lightning 3 - raw 4 - magic 5 - enchanted 6 - divine 7 - occult 8 - fire 9 - chaos [/code] So a lightning +5 claymore would be "301205". I feel so lucky. I got both the swag sword AND the trident on my first playthrough without even knowing they existed.
