won my first invasion finally. i've been getting crazy ass players who lagstab me usually, but today i was in the catacombs and some guy popped up JUST AS I GOT TO THE BONFIRE he was using a giant hammer, managed to actually dodge and whittle him down, felt so proud he only had like 50,000 souls though, so i imagine he's probably on his first run-through like i am plus, getting to activate the bonfire afterwards tasted like success

when you kill an invader you only get half the amount of souls they're carrying

You get 50% of the souls required for them to level up, doesn't matter how much they're carrying. If it did most duels would net you ~500k souls each. Invaders only get 10%. [editline]4th February 2013[/editline] 50k is SL125, so he was around there.

I get the same guy again, and this time i stand still with shield up and drop i'm sorry stones. finally he gets it and starts dropping his own prisms. we do this for about a minute and then i zweihander backstabbed him off the cliff edge for 100k souls.

Took me exactly an hour to beat O&S on my SL1 :v: Now I can see if leo ring pickaxe is actually a good idea...

Joining this Forest Hunter covenant was probably not a good idea. Keep running into people who summon white phantoms to do their dirty work. Annoying as fuck.

Annoying as fuck.[/QUOTE] I'm not going to lie to you coming from a guy who sat around in the forest often with another experienced person waiting for park rangers joining the forest covenant is only fun if you love hating yourself and getting triple teamed; overall it's not a covenant worth joining (most of the time, anyway) the only reason I did is because 1v3 is actually kinda entertaining especially when you use the dragon king greataxe

Being a Park Ranger can work with Karmic Justice too, assuming the people you invade don't realize what it is.

Does anyone know what armor and weapons to use if I want to look like Gandalf the Grey? I already know you can take Big Hat Logan's hat and the Izalith Catalyst, but I don't really know what else.
